Virgie Mae Kinslow

Virgie Mae Kinslow, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jetty E. Heflin, was born on July 14, 1921, in Pope County, Arkansas, and departed this life on August 13, 2012, at Care Givers Inn, O'Fallon, Missouri, at the age of 91.
On October 30, 1937, Virgie was united in marriage to Arvin L. Kinslow in Russellville, Arkansas.
Mrs. Kinslow’s primary occupation was homemaker and assisting her husband, Rev. Arvin Kinslow, in his pastorate of the General Baptist Churches in Missouri, Indiana and Kentucky. After retirement, they made their home in Dexter, Missouri, and she was a member of Risen Church.
Mrs. Kinslow was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Arvin Kinslow, and one brother, Glen E. Heflin.
Survivors include one brother, Ken Heflin of Lake St. Louis, Missouri; two nieces, Brenda Heflin of Columbia, Missouri, and Judy Wallace of House Springs, Missouri; two nephews, Jerry Heflin, Sr. of Dexter, Missouri, and Mark Heflin of O’Fallon, Missouri; and a host of friends.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 10:30 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 15, 2012. Funeral services will then be conducted on Wednesday, August 15, 2012, at 1:00 P.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Phil Warren and Rev. Josh Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri.
