Pauline Bean, daughter of the late John and Roxie Sifford Cranick was born on October 9, 1910 in Scott County, Missouri and died on April 28, 2012 at Oak Tree Villas in Jefferson City, Missouri at the age of 101.
Mrs. Bean was a homemaker and mother to her children all her life. She was a member of Richwoods Methodist Church in Scott County until moving to Jefferson City when health issues prevented her active participation in church life.
On November 5.1928 she was united in marriage to Lyman L. Bean in Morley, Missouri. Mr. Bean preceded her in death on March 8, 1995.
She is survived by one daughter, Anita Link of by three sons and daughters in-law, Willard and wife Connie Bean of Jefferson City, , Wayne and wife Carol Bean of Union, and Gary and wife Jo Dean Bean of Niceville, Florida; by nine grandchildren; by nineteen great-grandchildren; by nine great-great grandchildren and by numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband and parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ira Cranick and Elmer Cranick and by two sisters, Amy Rhodes and Lois Elliott.
Friends may call from 12 noon until 2 p.m., Saturday, May 5, 2012, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. Funeral services will then be conducted at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 5, 2012 in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Russell Rowland officiating. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that all memorials be made to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 2001 S. Lindberg Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63131 or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
