Della Wooten, daughter of the late T.B. Walker and Willie Mae Kelly Walker was born on November 2, 1943 at Wilson, Arkansas and departed this life in her residence near Essex, Missouri on April 24, 2012 at the age of 68.

Mrs. Wooten was a homemaker and resident of rural Essex.

She was united in marriage to Dale E. Wooten on December 31, 1959 at Hayti.  Mr. Wooten survives of the home near Essex.

Other survivors include one son and daughter in law, Delbert and Cindy Wooten of Malden; by two daughters, Eloise "Sue" Dauer and husband, Andrew of Labadie 

and Ella Dix of Dexter; by one brother, J.B. Walker of Boaz, Alabama; by one sister, Nancy Stratton of Boaz, Alabama; by nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Kelvin Edward Wooten; by three sisters, Onie Lou Petty, Margie Jo Wooten and Dorothy Ann Pate.

A memorial service will be conducted at 10 a.m., Friday, April 27, 2012 at the Lighthouse Christian Center in Dexter with the Rev. Tim Russell officiating.
