Rose Mary Rushing

Rose Mary Rushing of Oxford, Michigan, formally of Dexter, Missouri, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2012 at the age of 82. 

Rose Mary worked for Clinton Valley Center in Pontiac for 24 years and at POH for 10 years. She liked to crochet, but most of all she loved her family; they were everything to her

Mrs. Rushing was married to Wallace Rushing, who preceded her in death. She was the loving mother of Ron (Sue) Rushing, Brenda (Charles) Fotheringham, and Donna (Tom Montgomery) Ross; special grandmother of Jennifer, Erik, and Angel; great grandmother of Zachary, Danny Cruz, Jazmyn, and Marcus; sister of Betty Jo and James Biggs.  Also survived by Mary Berg, who was like a daughter.

She was preceded in death by 10 siblings. 

The family will receive friends from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2012 at Coats Funeral Home in Waterford.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m., Sunday, February 19 at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, February 20 in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter with the Rev. Tim Russell officiating. Internment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
