Ray Edward Null, son of Ronda Orton Merriman, was born in Mounds, Illinois on July 17, 1985, and passed away at his home in Dexter, Missouri on February 15, 2012, at the age of 26 years, 6 months and 29 days.
He had lived in Dexter most of his life. Ray had worked at Mid Continental Nail in Poplar Bluff.
Surviving are his mother, Ronda Merriman of Dexter; one son, Christopher Null; and one sister, Heather Mayberry of Dongola, Illinois. Other family and friends also survive.
Memorial services will be held at 2 .m., Sunday February 19, 2012, at the Watkins and Sons Chapel in Dexter with the Rev. Jim Hoyt officiating.

Ella Jane Abernathy Pry, daughter of the late Jerome and Lizzie Summers Abernathy, was born November 30, 1912, in the Ardeola Community in Stoddard County, Missouri and passed away at her home in Bloomfield, Missouri on February 15, 2012, at the age of 99 years, 2 months and 16 days.
Mrs. Pry had lived in the Bloomfield area most of her life. She attended the Bell City United Pentecostal Church.
On May 16, 1931, she was married to Prentice Pry in Dexter. He preceded her in death on March 18, 1995.
Surviving are two daughters, Velva Latham of Cape Girardeau and Melba Hancock of Puxico; four sons, Dean Pry and Dewey Pry both of Dexter, Dr. Harry Pry of Cape Girardeau, and, James Pry of Kennett, Missouri, 12 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren. Other relatives and friends also survive.
She was preceded in death by three brothers.
Friends may call from 5 until 8 p.m., Saturday, February 18, 2012, at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield,.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, February 19, 2012, in the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri.
Interment will be in the Oak Ridge Cemetery near Bloomfield with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, in charge of arrangements.

Janice Gay Powell, daughter of the late Jesse and Lucille Horseman Worker, was born on February 15, 1939 in St. Louis, Missouri, and departed this life on Sunday, February 12, 2012 in Malden, Missouri at the age of 72.
Mrs. Powell graduated from Central Methodist University in Fayette, Missouri, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree; she received a Master’s degree from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Ark. Mrs. Powell taught school for one year in the Fayette Public Schools, one year in the Hazelwood Public Schools, and 26 years for the Malden Public Schools. She retired from the Malden schools in 1995.
Mrs. Powell was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Malden. She enjoyed flying and was a licensed private pilot.
On January 23, 1960, she marred Sam Powell in Glendale, Missouri. Mr. Powell survives of the home in Malden.
Survivors include her husband and one son and daughter-in-law, Sam Powell Jr. and Elke of Dexter. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Andy and Caroline Goessling of Dexter and Emma Powell, also of Dexter.
Mrs. Powell was preceded in death by one daughter, Lisa Goessling.
Friends may call beginning at 12 p.m., Wednesday, February 15, 2011 at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m., with Bill Hampton and the Rev. Michael Woods officiating.
Pallbearers will be Andy Goessling, Sam Powell Jr., Bill Hampton, Jerry Smith, Bud Hill, and Doug Dirks. Honorary Pallbearer will be Ben Bradshaw.

Rodney L. Corlew, son of Mary M. Litzler Corlew and the late Charles William Corlew, was born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on July 9, 1959, and passed away at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter, Missouri on February 12, 2012, at the age of 52 years, 7 months and 3 days.
He had lived in Essex and Dexter all his life. Rodney was a self employed truck driver and was a member of the Lighthouse Christian Center in Dexter.
On February 18, 1995, he was married to Vickie Edwards in Dexter.
Surviving are his wife, Vickie Corlew of Dexter, Missouri; two daughters, Jessica Corlew of Bloomfield, Lindsey Corlew of Springfield, Missouri; one granddaughter, Rylee Corlew of Bloomfield; two brothers and spouse, Michael Joe Corlew of Essex, Charles Ray and Lisa Corlew of Aid; three sisters and spouses, Sandy K. and Glenn McMullin, Charlotte A. and Mark Stutts and Mary Jan Wheeler all of Essex. Other family and friends also survive.
Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 p.m., Tuesday, February 14, 2012, at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m.,Wednesday, February 15, 2012, at the Watkins and Sons Chapel in Dexter with the Rev. Rick Patterson of Athens, Tennessee, and the Rev. Tim Russell of Dexter, officiating.
Interment will be in Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, with Watkins and Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
Shirley Williams, daughter of Lucille Dunlap Woods of Jonesboro, Arkansas and the late Lloyd Woods was born on September 17, 1938 in Bono, Arkansas and died on February 9, 2012 at her residence in Jonesboro, Arkansas at the age of 73.
Mrs. Williams was a former resident of Dexter currently living in Jonesboro. She was the owner of Saveway Petroleum in Dexter.
On June 27, 1959 she was united in marriage to Sherrill Joe Williams in Dexter. Mr. Williams preceded her in death on June 30, 1994.
Besides her mother she is survived by two brothers, Loy Woods of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Larry Woods of Alicia, Arkansas.
Besides her husband and father she was preceded in death by one son, Joe Williams; by one brother, Terry Woods and by one sister, Sharon Brown.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 10:30 a.m. until 12 noon, Saturday, February 11, 2012. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 12 noon in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. M.C. Moore officiating. Interment will follow in the Hagy cemetery.
