Lois Pearl Allen, daughter of the late William James Myricks and Alice Lois Rohrbach Myricks was born on February 11, 1938 in Bernie and died on November 3, 2011 at her residence in Heber Springs, Arkansas at the age of 73.

Mrs. Allen was a homemaker, a former resident of Bernie currently living in Heber Springs, Arkansas.

On June 17, 1957 she was united in marriage to Wilson Lee “Bud” Allen in St. Charles, Illinois.  Mr. Allen preceded her in death on January 27, 2009.

She is survived by one daughter, Wilma Lee Allen Jefferson of Heber Springs, Arkansas; by one brother, Everett Hardy of California; by three sisters, Margie Garrett of Pleasant Garden, North Carolina, Marie Moore of West Plains, Missouri and Joyce Green of Parma; by two grandchildren, Christy Steele and Chrystal Steel Snyder and by four great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband and parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Clifford Rohrbach and by one sister, Lillian DeJournett.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Sunday, November 6, 2011 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.  Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, November 6, 2011 at 1 p.m., in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Dale Hartle officiating.  Interment will follow in the Bernie cemetery.
