William Eugene Shell

William Eugene Shell, son of the late Willie Shell and Sevia Boling Shell was born on January 30, 1928 at Dexter and departed this life in the Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter on September 10, 2011 at the age of 83.

Mr. Shell was a member of the Dexter Church of Christ, a former employee of International Hat Factory in Dexter, electrician and a resident of Dexter.

He was united in marriage to Wilma Vern Gray on May 17, 1947 at Bloomfield.  Mrs. Shell preceded him in death on April 25, 2005.

He is survived by one daughter, Rose Marie Templeton of St. Louis: by one sister, Faustina Barker of Dexter: by three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Beauton Shell and Imogene Quinton.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 9:30 until 11 a.m., Tuesday, September 13, 2011.  Funeral services will then be conducted at 11 a.m., in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Clyde Jacques officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Hagy Cemetery.
