Ethel Victoria Crump
Ethel Victoria Crump, 96, of Reeds Springs, Missouri went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 23, 2011 at the Table Rock Health Center in Kimberling City, Missouri.

Ethel was born October 29, 1914 in Puxico, Missouri to Silas and Clara Hobbs. She spent many years in the Puxico and Dexter area before moving to the Branson Mo. She had a deep love for her family and worked tirelessly to meet their needs. After the children left the nest, she loved to make quilts and afghans. She surprised us all with the many beautiful oil paintings.

Her faith in Jesus Christ was her anchor in life and the foundation for how she lived her life. She loved life as she loved people and people loved her. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Dexter, Missouri. She loved to worship and sought the fullness of life as promised by Jesus Christ.

Ethel first married Louie Hull, August 25, 1933, to this union 3 children were born, Louise Hull, Jimmie Hull and Silas Hull who died shortly after birth.

Ethel later married William Crump, February 14, 1953 at Piggott, Arkansas. They had a great life together and Bill and his children became a much loved part of her family.

Surviving are her daughter Louise Kellerman and husband Robert Kellerman of Reed Springs, Missouri, son Jimmie Hull and wife Marie Hull of Evansville, Indiana, step-daughter Patsy Looney of Hallsville, Missouri, step-son Gearelen Crump and wife Laura Brosky of Brooklyn ,New York, step-son Auther Crump of Denver, Colorado; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; a sister Barbara Goshen of Centralia, Washington, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one son Silas Hull, husband William Crump, brother Howard Hobbs, sister Leonia Hull, brother Elmo Hobbs, brother Junior Hobbs, grandson Bobby Kellerman and daughter-in-law Pat Crump.

The family would like to give thanks for the loving care that was provided to Mrs. Crump by her daughter and son-in-law, Louise and Bob Kellerman, while she lived in their home. We would also like to thank Preferred Hospice for their end of life care.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Friday, August 26, 2011 from 4 until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 11 a.m., in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery near Puxico.
