  • THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH CONTINUES FOR
  • * PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN ILLINOIS... WESTERN KENTUCKY AND SOUTHEAST MISSOURI... GENERALLY SOUTH OF A LINE FROM CARBONDALE ILLINOIS TO GREENVILLE KENTUCKY INCLUDING PADUCAH... CAPE GIRARDEAU... POPLAR BLUFF... MURRAY AND HOPKINSVILLE.
  • * FROM 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING THROUGH THURSDAY EVENING.

  • HIGH PRESSURE AT THE SURFACE AND ALOFT IS INCREASING ITS HOLD OVERTOP OUR AREA. THE RESULT WILL BE A CONTINUATION OF THE HEAT AND HUMIDITY INTO AND THROUGH THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS.
  • HEAT INDEX VALUES OF 100 TO 105 ARE FORECAST THROUGH THURSDAY... ESPECIALLY FOR SOUTHEAST MISSOURI AND THE SOUTHERN PURCHASE AREA OF WESTERN KENTUCKY.
