Special Weather Statement for Snow Accumulation

Special Weather Statement for Snow Accumulation

The National Weather Service in Paducah, Kentucky has issued a Weather Statement for Snow Accumulation

Issued By

Paducah - KY, US, National Weather Service

Affected Area

Stoddard County

Description

...Accumulating Snow Chance Tonight... The first chance for a little snowfall is tonight, when a dusting of light snow is possible. While you might see some flurries before then, the best chance time period of seeing some white stuff accumulate just a little bit is between 6 PM and 3 AM tonight. A dusting up to an inch cannot be ruled out. Chances are lowest in the Ozarks and pick up as you head east from there, especially along and east of the Mississippi River. The better and best chance for accumulating snowfall comes Sunday night into Monday. At this time, chances for an inch or two of snowfall seem a pretty good bet for southeast Missouri and western Kentucky, with perhaps a dusting up to an inch north of there across much of southern Illinois and southwest Indiana.
