July 17th 2017 by Dee Loflin
United Methodist Men Selling Sides of Beef
Dexter, Missouri - The United Methodist Men in Dexter are selling sides of beef as a fundraiser to support their church and civic projects.

You can stock your freezer with quality, locally raised beef while supporting this great organization.

They are selling Angus or Hereford sourced sides of beef off the farm.  You can partner and share a side of beef with someone!

A side of packaged beef steaks, roast, ribs and 90% lean hamburger will be about 350 - 400 pounds of packaged meat.

Six Angus sourced sides of beef should be ready for October.  Sibling steers came in above prime quality grading by USDA in Grandin, Missouri.

Whole steers will live weight at about 1,200 lbs and you can expect better than 63% yield.  Estimated package cost for steaks, roast, and hamburger meat is estimated at $2.90 +/- per pound.

Give Daniel Heil or any United Methodist Men member a call and let them know you are interested and would like to purchase a half or whole side of beef.

Call (573) 382-0399 for more information.
