Dexter, Missouri - The annual Miss Heartland pageants were held on September 10, 2017 at the Dexter High School Auditorium.

The pageants are sponsored by the Dexter High School Choral Department.

The 2017 Jr. Miss Heartland Queen is Chloe Thurmon. She is the daughter of Matt and Mindy Thurmon.

Second Alternate is Molly Murphy.  She is the daughter of Robin and Keith Davidson and Borden Murphy.

First Alternate is Courtney Northcutt.  She is the daughter of Ken and Billie Stratton.
