Dexter, Missouri - The annual Miss Heartland pageants were held on September 10, 2017 at the Dexter High School Auditorium

The pageants are sponsored by the Dexter High School choral Department.

The 2017 Young Miss Heartland is Mia Holden.  Mia is the daughter of Sarah Ferrell and Ryan and Lindsay Holden.

First Alternate is Abby Kennedy.  She is the daughter of DAvid and Natalie Kennedy.

Second Alternate was Logan Marie Holman.  She is the daughter of Mindy Holman and Kevin and Toni Holman.
