Nearly 700 Girl Scouts Participated in the Annual Camporee in Dexter

Dexter, Missouri - The Girl Scouts of the Missouri Heartland held its signature event, the Camporee, the weekend of April 15-17 at the Stoddard County Fairgrounds.

Over 200 Girl Scouts and their families camped under the stars and nearly 700 attendees enjoyed Saturday activities and exhibits.

Thank you to our Camporee sponsors: Southeast Missouri State University, BA Promotions, Harryette Campbell, Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home, Martin Rice Company, Lew’s, Chris Brannan State Farm, Allen Christian Buick GMC, and First Midwest Bank.

Special thanks to our partners from the Stoddard County Fair Board and Dexter Parks and Recreation Department for use of their facilities.

For information on how to join, volunteer, reconnect, or donate to Girl Scouts, call 877-312-4764 or visit us on the web at www.girlscoutsmoheartland.org.
