Bloomfield, Missouri - The Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce is offering a new and exciting weekly feature to better acquaint our community with local businesses.

The Weekly Business Spotlight is a FREE Chamber Member benefit.  Each week a business member will be highlighted on their social medial Facebook Page. 

This week’s spotlight shines on From Soup to Nuts' Katy's Place

From Soup to Nuts is located at 307 East Court Street and is owned by Katy Jones. (Shown in the photo).

Katy offers soups, sandwiches, daily specials and catering!  Dine in or Carry-out Monday - Friday from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.  She also offers dinner from 4:30 p.m. - 7:00 Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday as Carry-out ONLY!

Sassy Stitchers Quilting Club Creates Wonderful Donations
Dexter, Missouri - The Sassy Stitchers Quilting Club created wonderful burp clothes and crib bedding for the local Mother-to-Mother program.

The Mother-to-Mother Program is a "mentoring program that pairs young mothers with experienced mothers. Our mission is to strive to create self-confident young parents with hope for the future through education, support, and services in partnership in the community."

Pack and Purchase Disaster Relief Meal Buckets

Bernie, Missouri - Disaster Relief Meal Buckets will be available through Hope International in Bernie on Friday, October 23rd from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Each bucket holds 150 meals.  These meals are chicken and rice flavored and have 21 vitamins and minerals needed for your health.  There are six different vegetables as well.

The shelf life of each bucket is 20 years, but once the bucket is opened the meals inside are still good for 3 years.

Come out and help pack the buckets and then purchase one for just $36.00 each.  Everyone interested will need to register by Wednesday, October 21st.  Please call (573) 293-4673.

October Chamber Business After Hours - Corner Cottage
Dexter, Missouri - October Chamber Business After Hours was held at Corner Cottage.  If you haven't had a chance to drop by, you most definitely should take a few minutes to shop in this wonderful hometown business.

Kim Williams served delicious pumpkin pie and warm apple cider to her guests of the hour on Tuesday evening.

Corner Cottage is located at 1424 W. Business 60 and is open Monday – Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Sunday 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Kim launched her business at this location in 2009 and offers a variety of home décor, gift items, hand-built furniture, baby gifts, jewelry, candles, and much more.

Jessica Loflin discovered a great place to shop while she attended the event.  She made her first purchase, new feather necklace and earrings!

The Pumpkin Patch is open and ready for you to select gorgeous mums or pumpkins for your porch!
