A21 5k Run - Let's End Human Trafficking

Dexter, Missouri - Local residents Amanda Paige Cooper, Kara Flippin, and Baylee Cooper are hosting a 5k Run to raise money for A21.  The race will be held on Saturday, September 12th beginning at 8:30 a.m. at WEST Park in Dexter.

A21 is a non-profit organization that has a goal to abolish slavery in the 21st century.  They rescue victims from human trafficking and provide them support to recover physically and spiritually and equip them to get back on their feet.

“Most are completely oblivious to the fact that there is such a thing as modern day slavery,” commented organizer Kara Flippin.  “Once we came to the understanding how real it was, we made the choice to not sit back and do nothing.”

The donation is $35; however they are offering an early bird special for $25 and that includes a t-shirt as well.  Register before August 1st to get this special price.

Anyone who registers after August 22nd will not receive a t-shirt so be sure to register early!!

“We would love for you to partner with us so we can make a difference together,” stated Baylee Cooper.  “We need to spread the word.  Not only about our 5k Run, but to educate people on how real slavery is today.”
