Back to School Bash/Infinite Campus Student Registration
Wednesday, July 31st from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Parents/Guardians,
The Dexter School District is excited to announce that we will begin the 2024-2025 school year using Infinite Campus as our new student information system. Infinite Campus will manage attendance, grades, schedules, assignments, assessments, and other important information. This new system will replace Tyler SIS, which will no longer be supported by the developer.
Both parents and students will have access to Infinite Campus, similar to Tyler SIS, allowing users to view information about school progress. In order to complete this transition and ensure that student data transferred correctly, we need parents of returning students to view the data.
On July 31st from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., we will host a Back-To-School Bash in the Bearcat Event Center. At this event, we will ask returning families to complete online verification and set up a parent portal account in Infinite Campus. Families who are new to the district, will be able to enroll their students using Infinite Campus and also obtain a parent portal account. We need parents/guardians of both returning students and new students to bring the following items with them to the Back-To-School Bash:
-
Birth Certificate
-
Immunization Records
-
Proof of Residence
-
Court Documents
-
Date of Birth for any Parents or Guardians listed in Infinite Campus
Besides making updates to your students information and creating a parent portal account you can also expect the following at the Back-to-School Bash:
-
Wagner Portrait Studio will be available for school pictures.
-
Class lists and student schedules will be available.
-
Southwest students will be able to get their identification cards for student pick-up.
-
Locker assignments will be available.
-
High school students can get a parking pass.
-
Student fees and fines may be paid.
-
If your child required vaccinations over the summer, those records may be turned in.
-
Several community organizations and resources will have booths to share information.
-
Bearcat t-shirts and merchandise will be available for purchase.
Please make plans to attend this important event on July 31, 2024 at the Bearcat Event Center anytime from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. We are looking forward to seeing you at this event and welcoming our students back to the 2024-2025 school year. Questions, call 573-614-1000.
