Puxico Elementary Gets New Playground Equipment

Puxico, MO - Ribbon cuttings were held at Puxico Elementary for their new playground equipment.  These improvements were provided by ESSER funds to allow children more room to play outside.  Additionally, Mrs. Thompson has applied for a playground grant to provide an update to the ground cover under the new play structures.

If approved, part of the area's pea gravel cover will be replaced with a solid cover made from recycled tire materials.  They are currently awaiting the results of that application and expect to find out any day.

K- 1 playground – Equipment installed is called Tidewater Club Play Structure and they will be getting a set of swings to add to the playground.

2nd-5th playground – Equipment installed called Grand Cove Play Structure and Ditch Plains Play Structure.  They will also be getting a set of swings added to the playground.
