Three Rivers College Announces New Dexter Location Head

Dexter, Missouri - Three Rivers College has announced the hiring of Joseph Kenley as the Director of Three Rivers at Dexter. Kenley has previously worked for Three Rivers as an adjunct instructor at the Dexter location. He will replace Bill Hampton, who retired in June of 2016.

“I sought this opportunity because I’d already seen the kind of opportunities the Dexter location provided for community members who wanted to advance their education, improve their careers,” said Kenley. “Three Rivers has a great team in Dexter, and I wanted to be more connected to them and their mission.”

Kenley began teaching classes for Three Rivers as an adjunct in January 2016. Prior to accepting the Director position, he has been employed as a guidance counselor by the Mingo Job Corps since 2012. He previously resided in Atlanta, Georgia, where he worked as a social service provider and an advisor for the Professional Studies Program at Shorter University. Kenley holds a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Virginia State University, and a Masters in Professional Counseling from Argosy University.
