Dexter, Missouri - The 2016-2017 Dexter Public Schools official calendar was approved during the February 16, 2016 regularly scheduled Dexter school board meeting.

Registration for grades K-12 will be on August 2nd from 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. with the first day of school being August 11th for grades first - twelfth.   Kindergarten students begin on Friday, August 12th.

Dexter, Missouri - Southwest Elementary honors second grade students Logan Fritch, Houston Neely, Jack Moore, Gibson Booker, and Keeleigh Flanigan with the Positive Office Referral certificate.

This award is presented to students who consistently show the 3R's RESPECTFUL, RESPONSIBLE, and READY TO LEARN at Southwest Elementary in Dexter. 

Logan Fritch is in Mrs. Keena's classroom.  "Logan is always a hard worker and has a positive attitude! He is always kind to his classmates and is a joy to have in class!"

Houston Neely is in Mrs. Mick's classroom.  "Houston goes above and beyond in every area.  he is a wonderful role model for other students."

Jack Moore is in Mrs. Justice's classroom.  "jack always gets out his materials the first time he is asked and is ready to learn."

Gibson Booker is also in Mrs. Justice's classroom.  "Gibson is always helpful when his classmates need help with a word or having computer problems."

Keeleigh Flanigan is also in Mrs. Mick's classroom.  "Keeleigh has been kind and thoughtful to all students the entire year."

Riley Adams is in Mrs. Twaddell's classroom and was referred by Mr. Eldreth.  "Riley is very professional and mature in her daily behavior.  She always shows the 3r's."

Tanner Massey is in Mr. Eldreth's classroom.  "Tanner always shows the 3R's.  He is a great behavior example for his peers."

Ceylon Corbin is in Mr. Eldreth's classroom.  "Ceylon always shows her 3R's and does her best to help others when they are in need."

Zayden was nominated by Mrs. Berry at Southwest Elementary.  He also received a certificate, a golden loop, and a free taco from Taco Bell.
