Dexter, Missouri - Time is running out if you wish to buy a yummy beef stick.  The DTA Club is having a fundraiser through February 11th at the Dexter High school.

The beef sticks are just $1.00 each and the proceeds will go towards purchasing items needed in the shop class.

This is a Dexter student lead organization.  DTA Members are any Industrial Arts student who wishes to be part of the group.  They have a lot of fun activities throughout the school year including "Movie Night" and "Bowling!"

"Members get the benefit of making DTA projects which helps out the club and gives the students small projects that they do not have to purchase,"  according to Marti Pulliam, Industrial Technology Educator for Dexter High School.

This is a worthwhile fundraiser and the beef sticks are delicious. Help support DTA today!

Dexter, Missouri – The Dexter Jr. Beta Club will be sponsoring their first ever Winter Dance on Thursday, February 21st from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the T. S. Middle School gym.

All Middle School students are invited to dance the night away.  This will not be a formal dance; however students are being asked to “look nice”.

T-shirts are available for $8.00 to commemorate this event.  If a student is interested in buying a t-shirt, they should bring money to the office and what size shirt they would like to purchase before February 8th.  The school needs enough time to order the shirts so that they are here by the dance.

A photographer will also be on hand to take pictures.  The cost will be very low to purchase these wonderful memories.

There will also be a live DJ to “Rock the Gym!”  Students will have a great time!
