Boles Qualifies for Individual Tennis Sectionals

Dexter Tennis participated in the Class 1 District 1 Individual Tournament on Thursday, May 4, 2023.

The Bearcats came home with two medalists.

In singles, Peyton Boles qualifies for his 2nd consecutive trip to the Sectional round with a shot at going to the state tournament.

He took home the Silver Medal and is the only individual Bearcat to qualify for Sectionals.

In doubles, Cooper Worley and Drew Chamberlain came up just a bit short, after a MARATHON semifinal, of qualifying for sectionals; however they did earn a medal for their efforts.

They ended up taking home the Bronze Medal and finishing their match well after 9:30 pm last night.

"All of our boys put in valiant efforts yesterday in the individual tournament," stated head Coach Eric Boles.  "I could not be more proud to be their coach."
