Dexter Boys Tennis Team to Host 2nd Annual Courts for Cancer Match

Dexter, MO - In 2018 Ryder Boles was diagnosed with testicular germ cell cancer.  He was 15 at the time.  His parents, Kristi and Eric Boles, teachers and coaches at Dexter Schools, were surrounded by love and support from family, friends, and the community during his treatment.

Because of the community's generosity they wanted to give back to those who have also been affected by cancer.  Last year the first of what has become an annual event, they started the Courts for Cancer with the boys tennis team.  Ryder is an avid Bearcat tennis player and continues to play this year.

On May 4, 2021 the Bearcat Boys Tennis Team will take on their friends from Sikeston in the 2nd Annual Courts for Cancer.

Coach Eric Boles and his team are raising money to help those in our area who are dealing with a CANCER diagnosis.

"One of the ways that we are raising money is through a t-shirt sale," commented Coach Boles. "Our boys will be wearing the PURPLE shirts on game day, and Sikeston will be wearing PINK shirts on game day."

We also have WHITE versions of the shirt available for purchase.  All net profits will be donated to: 1/3 of funds will be donated to a Stoddard County Family (linked to a school), 1/3 will be donated to 18ForeLife, and 1/3 will be donated to Friends of Kids with Cancer.

Please CLICK HERE to complete the sections that correspond to the color of shirt you would like to purchase, and the NUMBER of each size you would like to purchase.  Payment can be sent to the high school (just label an envelope to Eric Boles) or you can email Coach Boles at eboles@dexter.k12.mo.us and they can arrange a method for payment and delivery of shirts.

Shirts will be delivered to each school building for those staff and students who purchase one.  For non-school contributors, shirts can be picked up May 3rd at the DHS Tennis Courts (from 3:30 - 5:30) or on GAME DAY (May 4th) from 3:30 until the end of the match.

If you would like to donate please contact by emailing Kristi at kboles@dexter.k12.mo.us or Eric at eboles@dexter.k12.mo.us.
