Dexter 'Cats Shutout Twin Rivers 2-0

Dexter, MO - It was senior night for the Dexter baseball team and they ended their last home game with a shutout win over the Twin Rivers Royals.  The Bearcats defeated the Royals 2-0 on Tuesday, April 27, 2021.

Cole Nichols was the winning pitcher for Dexter.  He lasted six innings, allowing three hits and zero runs while striking out two and only walking one.

Camden Riley struck out the last batter of the game.  He three one inning in relief out of the bullpen recording the last three outs to save the varsity team.

Riley, Kaeden Kennedy, and Riley Slusher  each collected one hit to lead the Bearcats to victory.

Dexter scored one run in each of the 4th and 5th innings.

The Bearcats will begin play in the SEMO Conference Baseball Tournament on Friday against Jackson at Capaha Park.  First pitch at 6 p.m.
