2017 Softball Senior Spotlight Cheyenne Mosby

Dexter, Missouri - Three seniors, Olivia Sitzes, Cheyenne Mosby and Kaylee Carey, were honored at the Dexter Lady Cat softball field on Thursday, April 27, 2017.

Cheyenne Mosby is the daughter of Angela Mosby.

"Cheyenne is definitely a joy to have on the team.  She works hard and is always looking to get better," stated Lady Cats Softball Coach Starla Pulley.  "She had played some when she was younger, but came in her sophomore year and has been a great help in our outfield."

"She is not afraid to get dirty and to steal a base," continued Pulley.  "She is quick, fast and fearless.  She leads the team this year with 8 steals on the season, a .240 batting average and on base percentage of .380."

"I will miss her smile and her personality on the team next year."

She has played softball her sophomore, junior and seniors years at Dexter High School.  She also played basketball for the Lady Bearcats all four years of high school.

Cheyenne is a member of the Dexter Honor Society, Sr. Beta Club, National Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America and Foreign Language Club during her high school career.

Her future plans are to attend Three Rivers College and earn a degree in Early Childhood Education.

Congratulations Cheyenne!  Class of 2017
