Bloomfield Continues Winning Streak Beating Kelly

Bloomfield, Missouri - The future appears bright for the Bloomfield boys basketball program.  The Wildcats continue their impressive winning streak as they improved their record to 4-0 on the season defeating the Kelly Hawks 60-49 at home.

Kelly did not leave without a fight.  They paced the Wildcats in each period, but fell short in the fourth quarter giving the Wildcats a larger margin of points.

“I give a lot of credit to Kelly,” commented Bloomfield head basketball coach Jason Karnes.  “Coach Garnett had his guys ready to play and compete tonight.  We just kind of went through the emotions without a lot of energy.”

“Our margin for error is very small, and we have to make sure we are ready to compete and play as hard as we possibly can every single night,” continued Karnes.  “Facing adversity was good for us tonight, and hopefully we learned from it.”

Noah Vandiver tallied an impressive game-high 19 points for the Wildcats including 1 trey.

Austin Bond also added 14 points for the Wildcats.
