Charles Ray Ritch of Dexter, Missouri the son of the late Paul and Alma (Sutton) Ritch was born in Blytheville, Arkansas on December 14, 1935, and passed away on October 1, 2022, at the age of 86 years.
Charles lived in Dexter all his life until he moved to Saint Louis to work and moved back after retirement. Charles was of the Baptist Faith.
Charles was a retired Retail Tire Sales Manager from Goodyear.
Charles is survived by his four sons, Dave Ritch of Dexter, Donald Ritch, Doug Ritch, and Darrell Ritch all of Grayridge, Missouri; two daughters, Linda McGarrity of Paducah, Kentucky, Beverly Harris of Dexter; one step-son, Billy Lusk of Dexter; one step-daughter, Sherrie Leathers of St. Louis; one brother, Kenneth Ritch of Florida; one sister, Sue Ann Holden of St. Louis, Missouri; ten grandchildren, several great-grandchildren. A host of Family and Friends also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Louise (Plunk) Ritch; one son, Dennis Ritch; one daughter; Sheila Ritch; and one sister, Melba Harlan.
Visitation will be on Friday, October 7, 2022 from 12 to 1:00 P.M. for Family and 1 to 2:00 P.M. for Friends at the Watkins and Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held the same day as visitation at 2:00 P.M at the Watkins and Sons Chapel in Dexter with Pastor Charlie Robertson of Bloomfield officiating and Watkins and Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
Loretta Louise Vardell Roach, 92, of Puxico, MO, passed away on October 10, 2022 at Cypress Point Nursing Center in Dexter, MO. She was born November 13, 1929 in Puxico, the daughter of Lonnie and Edna Hughes Vardell.
Loretta had been instrumental in the development of the Stoddard County Ambulance District. She had worked as an EMT; she was the first employee to ever retire from the Stoddard County Ambulance District.
Loretta was known as a professional volunteer for her dedication to the Puxico community. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary #7822, Puxico OES #422, Puhicah Club and the Puxico Senior Citizens Housing Board. She served as a “volunteer grandparent” at Puxico Schools; she enjoyed reading to the students. For several years she wrote the “Puxico Personals” column for the Puxico Press. She had been a long-time Girl Scout Leader and Cub Scout Den Mother. She was a heavily involved member of the Egypt Community Church in Puxico.
Loretta had been a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Loretta and John U. Roach, Sr. were united in marriage on August 16, 1952, during the Puxico Homecoming and he preceded her in death on January 19, 2016.
Loving survivors include: four daughters, Loretta “Tootsie” (Douglas) Gerecke of Dexter, Elizabeth “Libby” (Rick) Killmer of Pittsburg, KS. Alice (Rodney) Stevenson of Tuckerman, AR and Sharon (Gary) Simmers of Advance; a sister, Lucetria Tetley of Overland, MO; 18 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, John “Butch” Roach, Jr.; three daughters, Karon Jones, Lucetria Roach and Dorothy Jean Roach; a grandson, Dillion Jones; two brothers, Brady (Hazel) Vardell and JC (Mavis) Vardell; a sister, Stella (Dwight) Peters and a brother-in-law, Martin Tetley.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 14, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.
VFW and OES services will be held at 5:00 p.m.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel with Rev. Wayne Burchett and Rodney Stevenson, II officiating. Burial will follow at Puxico Cemetery in Puxico.
TJ Sanders of Bloomfield, Missouri the son of the late Benjamin and Eva Mae (Shumpert) Sanders was born in Parma, Missouri on December 3, 1933, and passed away on October 8, 2022, at the age of 88 years.
In 1953, he was married to Edna Carver in Lutesville, Missouri.
TJ has lived in the Bloomfield area since 1992, when he retired from carpentry work.
TJ was a Union Carpenter for thirty years, loved Square Dancing, Horseback Riding, Gardening (mainly vegetables), Hunting Deer and Squirrell, and spending time with Family. TJ enjoyed Pepsi, Coke and especially enjoyed Milk. TJ always kept wood for the winter for his in-laws, Loved lending a hand to those in need and was always a good neighbor.
TJ is survived by his wife of 69 years, one son, Terry Joe (Deborah) Sanders of Bloomfield; two daughters, Charlotte Elaine (Clarence) Boen of Bloomfield, Missouri; Lena Kay (Bert) Hindman of St. Peters, Missouri; one brother, Charles Sanders of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; six grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; one daughter-in-law, Cindy Ball Sanders; and TJ was a Mentor to his great nephew, Robert Chaney. A host of Family and Friends also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Larry Jean Sanders; one brother, James Sanders; and three sisters, Katherine Baker, Beatrice Zuck, Sharon Sanders.
Visitation will be on Thursday, October 13, 2022 from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon at the Watkins and Sons Chapel in Bloomfield, Missouri.

Darrel E. Anderson, son of the late E. A. Anderson and Edna Wolpers Anderson, was born on February 4, 1944, in Dexter, Missouri, and departed this life on September 28, 2022, at his residence in Bloomfield, Missouri, at the age of 78 years.
Mr. Anderson was a former employee of Arvin Meritor in Dexter. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Bloomfield. He enjoyed fishing, collecting Hot Wheels, and playing baseball. He loved the St. Louis Cardinals and taking trips with his kid and grandkids.
On January 22, 1966, in Chester, Illinois, he was united in marriage to Kay Unger. Mrs. Anderson survives of their home in Bloomfield.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Darrel E. Anderson Jr. of Jackson, Missouri, and Robert Gary Anderson of Bloomfield, Missouri; by two daughters, Cindy Joyce Anderson Greer and husband Stacy of Dexter, Missouri, and Laurie Ellen Anderson Peters and husband Jim of Canaan, Indiana; by his brother, Roger Anderson and wife Sherri of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; by his sister, Cindy Gates and husband Mark of Dexter, Missouri; and by eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Other than by his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Kenny Anderson, Phillip Anderson, and Larry Anderson.
Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church in Bloomfield on Monday, October 3, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
Funeral services will then be conducted at First Baptist Church in Bloomfield on Monday, October 3, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. John McCain and Rev. Ronnie Stevens officiating.
Interment will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery in rural Bloomfield.

Jerry Eugene Penberthy of Leadwood, Missouri the son of the late Harold Eugene and Billie Jean (House) Penberthy was born in Farmington, Missouri, On June 10, 1953 and passed away at his home in Leadwood on September 29, 2022, at the age 69 years.
Jerry grew up and lived in Leadwood all his life. Jerry was a lifelong member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Park Hills. Jerry enjoyed Stock Car Racing, Playing Golf and the St. Louis Blues Hockey Team. The most enjoyable thing to Jerry was his kids, granddaughter and begin with his brothers and sister.
Jerry worked for many years until his retirement at the Pea Ridge Iron Ore Mine in Sullivan, Missouri where he worked as a warehouseman.
Jerry is survived by his two sons, Larry (Lacie) Penberthy of Desloge, Aaron (Susie) Penberthy of Leadwood; two brothers, Van (Mary) Penberthy of Leadwood, Greg (LeeAnn) Penberthy of Leadwood, Missouri and one sister; Fonda (John) Moser of Fenton, Missouri. A very beautiful granddaughter, Emmelia Bowyer and two nephews Andrew and Adam (Kelsey) Moser, a niece Lauren Moser, and one great nephew Bennett Moser. A very large extended family also survive to mourn his passing.
A gathering of family and friends for a celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 4th, starting at 4 p.m. - 9 p.m. at the Old Leadwood High School Gym in Leadwood, Missouri.
A private family interment will be held at a later date in the Immaculate Conception catholic Cemetery in Leadwood, Missouri.
