Charles “Pinky” Frank, son of the late Granville Frank and Ruby Mays Frank, was born on March 4, 1942, in Dexter, Missouri, and departed this life on July 24, 2022, at his residence in Dexter at the age of 80 years.
Mr. Frank was a Veteran of the United States Army, serving in Vietnam. After returning from Vietnam, he received the Army Commendation Medal for “meritorious achievement”. He was a former employee of Castor Township and Keener Gravel Company. He attended Mt. Gilead Hill Church and had volunteered with the Stoddard County Sheriff’s department working under Ralph Mouser for several years.
On April 30, 1965, in Acorn Ridge, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Carolyn Robinson. Mrs. Frank survives for their home in Dexter.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Cathy Scobey and husband James of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; by two grandchildren, Camden and Cade Scobey; by his brother-in-law, Norman Robinson and wife Laura of Dexter, Missouri; by his sister-in-law, Dorothy Richard and husband Cotton of Dexter, Missouri; and by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Thursday, July 28, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Steve Tippen officiating. Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Donna Jean Woodard Poe, daughter of Paul Wayne Woodard Sr. of Dexter, Missouri and Joyce Wanda Layton Hall of Essex, Missouri was born on December 25, 1974, in Dexter, Missouri and departed this life on July 21, 2022, at her residence in Essex, Missouri at the age of 47.
Other than by her parents, she is survived by two brothers, Paul Wayne Woodard Jr. and wife Vicky of Junction City, Kansas and Douglas Leon Graviett and wife Jamie of Dexter, Missouri; by two sisters, Rebecca Gail Kelley of Troy, Missouri and Marsha Diane Woodard of Dexter, Missouri; one step-sister, Tracy Ann Rayburn and husband Brad of Puxico, MO and by many nieces, nephews, “greats”, extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Susan Kay Woodard, her step-dad, Kurtis (Ras) Randall Hall of Essex, Missouri and her beloved dog, Gemma Isabell Poe.
Donna was employed at Wal-Mart in Sikeston, Missouri, in their security department. She was her niece and nephew's biggest cheerleader and loved supporting them in everything that they did!! She had a huge heart and tried to make everyone around her smile with her little jokes and antics. She enjoyed camping, fishing and being outdoors. She was very artistic and loved to paint. But her most favorite thing, due to not being able to bear children, was her dog Gemma, whom she spoiled rotten! She will forever be remembered by her bubbly personality, smile on her face and that hearty laugh that she would belt out and her infamous quotes...” What is really going on??”, “What does that mean?” or “Allegedly...”!!
Visitation will be conducted on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. in the Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter.
Interment will follow at the Link Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri.

Dimple McWaters Malloy, daughter of the late William L. and Nora Colston McWaters, was born on November 25, 1936, and departed this life at Mulberry Manor in Dexter, Missouri on July 15, 2022, at the age of eighty-five years.
On April 18, 1953, at Morehouse, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Harold “Quinton” Malloy, Sr. He preceded her in death on November 13, 1994.
Besides her parents and husband, Dimple was preceded in death by her son “Harold” Quinton, Jr.; daughter Treasa; brothers Claud, Bert, Don, W.C., Hershel, Ollie, and Herman; and sisters Audrey, Areda, Mamie, Polly, and Emma.
She is survived by her son, Charles and his wife Lori of Essex, and by many relatives, friends, and colleagues.
Dimple earned her bachelor and master’s degrees from Southeast Missouri State University and taught elementary education for more than twenty-five years in the Winona, Richland, Malden, and Sikeston school systems. She was active in the local and district CTA and MSTA holding offices in both organizations and served as President of the Southeast District Teachers Association.
Soon after retiring from school teaching, Dimple accepted the opportunity to develop a reading program for the inmates at the Southeast Correctional Center in Charleston, Missouri. She taught at the Charleston facility for several years and then transferred to the Eastern Reception, Diagnostic, and Correctional Center in Bonne Terre, Missouri from which she retired after teaching for a couple of years.
Dimple was very active in the ladies’ auxiliaries of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars participating in service projects and providing leadership by holding multiple offices.
Dimple was an avid quilter. She enjoyed growing tomatoes for her family and tending to her red and pink rose bushes. She was a devoted Buick owner who drove countless miles through the years attending professional and organizational meetings and taking family and personal trips.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Friday, July 22, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Graveside services will then be conducted at Old Essex Cemetery on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at 10:30 a.m.

Brian Scott Crawford, 51, of Dexter, Missouri passed away July 13, 1970. Brian was born July 17, 1970, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, a son to the late Phyllis Crawford Lyle.
Brian received his MBA from the University of Mississippi and received 2 bachelor's degree in arts and Master of Interior Design from Arkansas State University. He was a former business owner, artist, and interior decorator.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Bennie Lyle; grandparents, Joe Harold Crawford and Opal Crawford. Aunts and uncles, Bobby Crawford, Jimmy Crawford, Dewayne Crawford and David Crawford, Billy Lyle and Bobby Lyle and Coyse Barton.
Those left to cherish his memory are, his fiancé David Wynn, sister and brother-in-law Brooke Nicole and Lenny Ray Becker, stepchildren Alexandra Hampton Diebold, Tres Hampton, and Gracen Hampton, and nieces and nephews, Trevor Lyle, Makaela Henry, Hunter Becker, Kelly Becker and Harley Becker.

Phyllis Williams, daughter of the late Radius Wilkison and Chloe Lemons Wilkison, was born on September 5, 1941, in Acorn Ridge, Missouri, and departed this life on July 17, 2022, at Westwood Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, at the age of 80 years.
Mrs. Williams was a former loan officer for Southern Missouri Savings in Dexter, Missouri. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Dexter.
On April 5, 1962, in Caldwell, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Charles Lynn Williams. Mr. Williams preceded her in death on April 26, 2018
She is survived by two sons, Shane Williams and wife Margaret of Mountain Home, Arkansas, and David Williams and wife Kathy of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; by her brother, Lanny Wilkison of Bloomfield, Missouri; by seven grandchildren, Katelyn Carpenter, Darcie Williams, Morgan Williams, Zach Williams, Reagan Williams, Ryleigh Williams, and Henry Williams; and by her great-granddaughter, Aleigha Williams
Other than by her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Wilkison, and by her sister, Sherre Culbertson.
