In Memory of Charles “Pinky” Frank

Charles “Pinky” Frank, son of the late Granville Frank and Ruby Mays Frank, was born on March 4, 1942, in Dexter, Missouri, and departed this life on July 24, 2022, at his residence in Dexter at the age of 80 years.

Mr. Frank was a Veteran of the United States Army, serving in Vietnam. After returning from Vietnam, he received the Army Commendation Medal for “meritorious achievement”. He was a former employee of Castor Township and Keener Gravel Company. He attended Mt. Gilead Hill Church and had volunteered with the Stoddard County Sheriff’s department working under Ralph Mouser for several years.

On April 30, 1965, in Acorn Ridge, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Carolyn Robinson. Mrs. Frank survives for their home in Dexter.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Cathy Scobey and husband James of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; by two grandchildren, Camden and Cade Scobey; by his brother-in-law, Norman Robinson and wife Laura of Dexter, Missouri; by his sister-in-law, Dorothy Richard and husband Cotton of Dexter, Missouri; and by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Thursday, July 28, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Steve Tippen officiating. Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
