
LC Burchell was born on April 9, 1939, in Gosnell Arkansas, and passed away at his home in Holcomb Missouri, on February 23, 2022.
He loved fishing and hunting. His family was the most important thing in his life. He looked forward to the B&B reunion every year. LC proudly served in the Air Force from 1956 – 1960.
Burchell was preceded in death by his parents, Lindsay and Emily Burchell, his wife; Nola Chilton Burchell, two brothers; Carl Burchell and Burnett Burchell, four sisters; Leona Beasley, Viola Keeling, Pauline Beasley, and Paulette Prewitt, two stepsons; Daryl Chilton, and Dallas Chilton, and two stepdaughters; Kay Pike, and Robin Johnson.
He is survived by one daughter Lisa (Ben) Willyerd, one stepdaughter; Sherry Perry, one stepson; Douglas (Glenda) Chilton, five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; one sister; Doris (Charlie) Barnes, and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at the Lynn Oak General Baptist Church in Clarkton, Missouri.
A graveside service will then be conducted on Monday, March 7, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield with full Military Honors.

Lonnie Elwood Marler of Perryville, Missouri, the son of Charley Elwood and Mary Hazel (Elledge) Marler was born in Puxico, Missouri on July 05, 1946 and passed away in his home on February 21, 2022 at the age of 75.
Lonnie was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was self employed as a pallet broker.
He was united in marriage to Mary Ann Morgan on September 20, 1969 in Collinsville Illinois.
Lonnie is survived by his wife Mary Ann Marler of the home, three sons Scott Marler of Navarre, Florida, Kevin Marler of Annapolis, Missouri and Kent Marle of Fredericktown, Missouri; one brother Perry Marler of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; one sister Linda Watson of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; three grandsons Garrett, Ethan and Connor Marler; two granddaughters Mackenzie Marler and Gracie Stair. A host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Charles Elwood and Mary Hazel Marler and one brother Louie Marler.
Visitation will be held on Saturday February 26, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Missouri, with Funeral Service to follow with Pastor Doyle Mitchell of Dexter, Missouri officiating.
Internment will take place at Wappapello Cemetery in Wappapello, Missouri with Watkins and Sons Funeral Home of Dexter in charge of all arrangements.

Henry Avery, son of the late John Wes Avery, Alene Lawson Avery and Blanche Harper Avery was born on November 28, 1946, in Circle City, Missouri, and departed this life on February 19, 2022, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri at the age of 75 years.
Mr. Avery was a Veteran of the United States Army, serving in the Vietnam War. He was a former forklift operator at Faurcia Automotive in Dexter. He was an active member of the Calvary Baptist Church and was a resident of Dexter. Mr. Avery was a member of the Dexter Masonic Lodge #511, Kenady-Hanks American Legion Post #59 and was a volunteer at John J. Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.
On October 19, 1973, in Clarkton, Missouri he was united in marriage to Nanny Lou Baker. Mrs. Avery survives of their home in Dexter.
In addition to his wife Nanny, he is survived by two sons, Stacy Avery and wife Dr. Suzanne of Nashville, Tennessee and David and wife Michelle Avery of Sikeston, Missouri; four grandchildren Bryant Avery, Reid Avery, Sophie Avery, and Alexander Avery; by his brother, Tom Eugene Avery of El Cajon, California; and by his sister, Bonnie Cooper of Dexter, Missouri.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Vader Stultz.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Thursday, February 24, 2022, from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
Masonic services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, February 24, 2022, at 1:00 p.m.
Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Sterling L. McVay, 86 of Pekin,Illinois passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at his home. He was born to Joseph L. and Nora (Young) McVay on November 7, 1935 in New Madrid, Missouri.
Sterling was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother Gene.
He is survived by; one son, Roger (Nena) McVay of Normal, Illinois; two daughters, Cindy (Dennis) Jurewicz of Peoria, Illinois and Debbie (Kevin) O’Shaughnessy of Manito, Illinois.; five grandchildren, Chelsie (Tyler Reese) Harkleroad, Heidi Harkleroad, Benjamin (Ashleigh) Harkleroad, Ariel Jurewicz and Anthony Jurewicz; six great grandchildren; two brothers, Charles McVay of Phoenix, Arizona, and Linnie McVay of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; three sisters, Melissia (Rev. Randy) Zinn of Bald Knob, Arkansas, Pearl (Kenny) Russell of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and Cheri Shelton of Peoria, Illinois and several special nieces and nephews.
Sterling was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked as an Instrument Mechanic at NRG Powerton Generating Station retiring in1994. He was a lifelong St. Louis Cardinal fan, He enjoyed fishing, bike riding, traveling, and Elvis music. Sterling was a wonderful father and grandfather. He treasured his family, and loved time spent with them, especially his great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. with his brother-in-law, Rev. Randy Zinn officiating.
Burial will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield with Military Honors provided by the United States Army.

James Anthony (Tony) Gilooly, son of Cleo and Alma Gilooly was born on November 1, 1943, in Kennett, Missouri and was welcomed by his Lord and Saviour on February 17, 2022 at the age of 78.
Tony was a member of the National Guard when he was a young man. He ran a bakery route for Faye’s Bakery for 18 years. He also owned and worked on rental houses. Tony never met a stranger. He loved watching the St. Louis Cardinals and the Kentucky Wildcats. He enjoyed vacationing in Branson and the Smokey Mountains. He liked watching old westerns, with Gunsmoke being one of his favorites. He was a member of the Dexter Church of Christ for 35 years.
On November 9, 1968, he was united in marriage to Peggy Beaird in Kennett, Missouri. Mrs. Gilooly survives of the home in Dexter.
Other than his wife, Peggy, he is survived by one son, Randy (Rachel) Gilooly of Old Orchard Beach, Maine; one daughter, Carla Gilooly of Byron Center, Michigan and one grandson, Colin (Hanna) Gilooly of Exeter, New Hampshire. He is also survived by two sisters, Barbara Flowers of Dexter, Missouri, Linda Gilooly of Bixby, Oklahoma and two nieces.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Sunday, February 20, 2022, from 1:00 pm until 2:30pm.
Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on February 20, 2022, at 2:30pm with Jim Faughn officiating.
Interment will follow in Dunklin Memorial Gardens in Kennett, Missouri.
