Edith Mae Cobb, age 94, of Dexter, Missouri passed away December 8, 2021. She was born to the late Lorse and Etta Mae (Rawls) Silas on September 23,1927 in Greenway, Arkansas.
Edith married E.B. Cobb on October 14,1944 in Piggott, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on December 5, 1998.
Edith is survived by her three sons Johnnie (Jean) Cobb of St. Louis, Missouri; Richard (Sue) Cobb of Bloomfield, Missouri; Terry (Julie) Cobb of Florida; five daughters Carolyn (Larry) Gisi of Dexter, Missouri; Linda (Randy) Boyer of Barnhart, Missouri; Virginia Cruse of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; Kathryn (Jay) Farrior of Maumelle, Arkansas; Eva Long of Pensacola, Florida; several grandchildren; several great children and several great great grandchildren. one sister Jean Bell of Cushman, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by one son in law Alan Long, three grandsons and one great grandson, three brothers and three sisters. A host of family and friends also survive.
Visitation will be held on Friday December 10,2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Friday December 10,2021 at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Steve Gunther of Cushman, Arkansas officiating. Watkins and Sons Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.

Gerald Northington, son of the late C. L. Northington and Leila Mae Guinn Northington, was born on December 26, 1945, in St. Louis, Missouri, and departed this life on December 5, 2021, at his residence in Dudley, Missouri, at the age of 75 years.
Mr. Northington was a Veteran of the United States Navy, he was a former construction and iron worker, and he was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by four sons, Philip Northington of Branson, Missouri, Mathew Northington of Elsinore, Missouri, Douglas Northington of Dexter, Missouri, and Miles Northington of Macon, Missouri; by his daughter, Melissa Est of Bloomfield, Missouri; by his sister, Dorothy Riggins-Higginbotham of Dudley, Missouri; and by fifteen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Other than by his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Earl Northington; and by his sister, Mary Maggaline.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Thursday, December 9, 2021, from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at 2:00 p.m.
Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield with full military honors.

Bruce Lee Fetters, son of the late Norman Bruce Fetters and Evalee Sielert, was born on March 27, 1942, in Dexter, Missouri, and departed this life on December 4, 2021, at Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, at the age of 79 years.
Mr. Fetters was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He was a former lineman for Ozark Border and a resident of Wappapello, Missouri. He was a member of the American Legion in Dexter, Missouri, and the VFW.
He is survived by his long-time companion, Luella Smith of Wappapello, Missouri; and by his grandson, Dustin Mayberry of Rome, Georgia.
Other than by his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Dennis Fetters and Ronnie Fetters.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Thursday, December 9, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at 10:00 a.m.
Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield with full military honors.

Billy (Bill) Gene Davis died unexpectedly on November 29, 2021, at the age of 64 at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton, Missouri. Bill had moved back to Missouri five months previously.
Bill was born August 21, 1957, to Jerrel Eugene “Pete” Davis and Diana Joyce Hartline Davis in Malden, Missouri. Both preceded him in death.
He was a member of the Dexter High School Senior Class of 1976.
Bill served in the Army. He held many different jobs, but his favorite was when he worked as a civilian on the Army base in Germany.
Bill had been disabled for some time. Bill loved to joke around and have fun. He enjoyed making people smile. He loved listening to music. More than anything, Bill enjoyed spending time with those he loved. Bill had a relationship with God and was of the Baptist faith. He loved his family and friends deeply.
Bill was married to his former wife Donna Davis for 41 years and to that union was born two daughters. He is survived by his daughter LaJeanna (James) Degraffenreid of Clinton, Missouri, his daughter Yvonne Shirley of Gibsonton, Florida and former wife Donna Davis of Clinton, Missouri. Bill was blessed with four grandchildren-Gabrielle Davis, Anthony Taylor-Davis, Brianna Davis, and Colton Shirley. Bill is survived by his brother David Davis from Tacoma, Washington, his sister Dina Grubbs of Dexter, Missouri, his sister Emma (Randy)Fowler of Lilbourn, Missouri, and his sister Tracey (Larry)Roberts of Warsaw, Missouri. Bill is also survived by many special nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
The funeral will be held at a future date with the Reverend William Davis officiating.
The service will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
He will be laid to rest by his parents at the Old Bethel Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri.

Luanne Marie Simones of Murfreesboro, Tennessee born to the late Lorne Raymond and Jessie Keyneatha (Mitts) Rice on December 25, 1942 in Scott County, Missouri passed away on November 30, 2021 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee at the age of 78 years.
Luanne has lived in Murfreesboro, Tennessee for the last 20 years, she also lived in Jeffersonville, Indiana. She enjoyed collecting antiquities, music and she loved to sing.
Luanne married Ron Simones on December 18, 1999 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee he survives of the home.
Luanne is survived by one daughter Senna Brasher of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; several grandchildren; four brothers Danny Rice, Larry Rice, David Rice and Jimmy Rice; three sisters Peggy Rodgers, Judy Tanner and Betty Bright. Luanne is preceded in death by her parents Lorne and Jessie Rice and one son Timothy Owen Wilson. A host of family and friends also survive.
Visitation will be on Friday December 10, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
