Robert Alan Miller of Sikeston, Missouri was born to the late Max and Colleen (Alsup) Miller on April 29, 1954 on the US Air Force Base in Burderop Park, Wiltshire England and passed away on November 16, 2021 in Sikeston, Missouri at the age of 67 years.
Robert had been a resident of Sikeston, Missouri since 1965 except for the 20 years in was in the United States Navy. While in the Navy, Bob spent 18 of his 20 with the Submarine Force on both “boomers” and fast attack boats as he traveled around the World. An Avid outdoorsman, his family could never understand how he could love being cooped up in a submarine, but he absolutely loved every minute he served. Upon retirement, he certified as a long haul trucker and spent several years driving back and forth across America. He was a past member of the Hunter Memorial Presbyterian Church in Sikeston, Missouri.
Surviving Robert is his sister Elizabeth Michailoff of Camano Island, Washington; cousins Larry and Judy Cookson, Jerry Cookson, Missy and Patty, plus many others all of Puxico, Missouri. He is preceded in death by his parents Max and Colleen Miller and one sister Chris Kincaid. A host of treasured family and friends also survive.
Graveside services to be held on Tuesday November 30, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. with full Military Honors at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Rev. Kenneth Lambert officiating.
Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Watkins and Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
Dixie Lee Lowe, daughter of the late Andrew Knotts and Mary Hopkins Knotts, was born on September 13, 1920, in Campbell, Missouri, and departed this earth on November 14, 2021, at NKC Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri at the age of 101 years.
Mrs. Lowe retired from the Bernie School System as the cafeteria cook. She was of the Baptist faith.
On May 2, 1942, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Sidney Lowe. Mr. Lowe preceded her in death.
She is survived by three children, Aaron Lowe and wife Joyce of Kansas City, Missouri, Sharon Cooper of Independence, Missouri, and June Lowe of Sugar Creek, Missouri; and by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Other than by her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Janet Arnette and Joyce Beaird; by two brothers, Herbert Knotts and Andrew Notts; and by her sister, Anna Denson.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie on Saturday, November 20, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at 11:00 a.m.
Interment will follow in the Dunklin Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett, Missouri.

Kyran Link Mitchell, the son of Charles Mitchell of Dexter and Angel Dodson Mitchell of Essex was born on February 29, 2012 at Poplar Bluff and departed this life on November 14, 2021 at his residence in Dexter at the age of 9.
Kyran was a joy to anyone he met. He was a proud Richland Rebel. Kyran enjoyed playing video games, building Legos, and watching anime. He loved all things Pokémon and riding his razor when his health allowed. He wouldn’t let his family out of his sight and loved being together with them.
In addition to his father, Charles Mitchell and his mother, Angel Mitchell, he is survived by one sister, Addyson Williamson of Essex; by one brother, Remington Battles of Essex; by his maternal grandmother, Laura Dodson of Dexter; by his paternal grandfather, David Mitchell and girlfriend Stephanie Parks of Dudley; by his paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Sagharichi and husband, Mahmoud of Poplar Bluff and by many close friends and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Mike Dodson.
Visitation will be conducted on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at the Richland High School Gymnasium from NOON until 3:00 p.m.
Funeral services will then be conducted on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in the Richland High School Gymnasium.
Interment will follow at the Essex Cemetery.
Noah Joseph Carlisle of Sikeston, Missouri was born to Joseph Carlisle and Chantelle Western on November 03, 1999 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and passed away peacefully wrapped in his mother's arms on November 13, 2021 at 2:35 p.m. in St. Genevieve, Missouri at the age of 22 years.
Noah fought a long and hard battle due to a car accident, however he touched many lives so he was surrounded with prayers from everywhere. His family is forever grateful for all the prayers and support and excellent care during his final days from the nurses at the Riverview Nursing Home in St. Genevieve, Missouri. Chaplain Bob we thank you as well for riding through this with us and consistent care and support you gave to Noah.
Noah had been a resident of Sikeston, Missouri most of his life. He worked at Walmart in Sikeston, Missouri. He enjoyed helping others, listening to music, spending time with his family and he loved to play video games. Noah enjoyed life to the fullest and helping people see the beauty in how precious life really is. Noah's daughter Mekenzi Carlisle was his life.
Surviving Noah is his daughter Mekenzi Carlisle of Farmington, Missouri, his mother Chantelle (Larry) Western; his father Joseph Carlisle; six brothers Tanner (Tara) Carlisle of Sikeston, Missouri, Austin (Felicity) Carlisle of Sikeston, Missouri, Logan Carlisle of Sikeston, Missouri, John Tyler Carlisle of Sikeston, Missouri, Brandon (Katelin) Western of Sikeston, Missouri and Trey Western of Sikeston, Missouri; two sisters Bella Carlisle of Sikeston, Missouri and Caylee Crider of Sikeston, Missouri; two nieces Olivia Carlisle and Iris Western; two nephews Dawson Western and Liam Carlisle. Noah is preceded in death by one sister Macy Carlisle and his maternal grandparents Tamara Crider and Julian Pease. A host of family and friends also survive.

Alice Delores Jarrell, daughter of the late Everett and Ossie Hall, was born on January 20, 1930, in Fisk, Missouri, and departed this life on November 12, 2021, at Cypress Point Skilled Nursing in Dexter, Missouri, at the age of 91 years.
Mrs. Jarrell was the former co-owner of Jay’s Music Company in Dexter. She attended the First United Methodist Church in Dexter and was a resident of Dexter. Throughout her life she enjoyed many activities including water skiing when she was younger, golfing, bowling, traveling, and gardening. Some of her other hobbies were playing cards and dominos, quilting, painting, crafting, and cooking.
On October 6, 1947, in Piggott, Arkansas, she was united in marriage to James “Jay” Jarrell. Mr. Jarrell preceded her in death on November 10, 2015.
She is survived by two sons, Jerry Jarrell and wife Vicky of Dexter and Denny Jarrell and wife Paula of Dexter; by four grandchildren, Julie Ann Welker and husband Matthew of Cape Girardeau, Molly Marie Miller and husband Justin of Cape Girardeau, Alison Jean Braunberger and husband Mark of Springfield, and Jason Paul Jarrell of Springfield; and by four great-grandchildren, Lucy Lynn Miller, Edwin Jay Miller, Henry James Welker, and Bode Rex Welker.
Other than by her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Gary, Brent, Roy, Charles “Dub”, and Walker; and by three sisters, Marge, Deloma “Toots”, and Sue.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Friday, November 19, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, November 19, 2021, at 11:00 a.m.
