Jarrid Lee Surface of Essex, Missouri born to the late Junior and Debra (Long) Surface on February 05, 1976 passed away on October 20, 2021 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri at the age of 45 years.
Jarrid had been a resident of Essex, Missouri most of his life. He enjoyed bowling, shooting matches, video games, sword collecting, American Pool Association. and being overprotective of his only son Jareth.
Surviving Jarrid is his Fiancee of 21 years Juliana Oliver; one son Jareth Lee Surface of Essex, Missouri; one brother Kenneth Surface of MIllersville, Missouri; one nephew Andrew Surface. He is preceded in death by his parents Junior and Debra Surface. A host of family and friends also survive.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday November 06, 2021 at the Bell City Community Center from 12:00p.m. to 5:00p.m. With Watkins and Sons Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.
Danny O’Neal Reynolds of Bell City, Missouri was born to the late Oscar and Delma (Ross) Reynolds on June 26, 1948 in Dexter, Missouri and passed away on October 30, 2021 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age 73 years.
Danny had been a resident of Bell City, Missouri his whole life. He was of the Christian Faith. He was a truck driver for Seepwater and Bell Farms.
Danny is preceded in death by his wife Carolyn Surface Polley. He is survived by his three sons Tommy (Michelle) Newell of Bell City, Missouri, Sonny (Cassie) of Advance, Missouri and Carl Casey of Morehouse, Missouri; two daughters Tammy (Lennie) Bailey) of Bell City, Missouri and Julie (James) Whitehead of Sikeston, Missouri; fourteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; three brothers Clarence Reynolds, Jerald Reynolds and Bobby Reynolds; two sisters Sherry curtis and Melinda Hendrix. He is proceeded in death by his parents Oscar and Delma Reynolds and one great grandson C.J. Mosley. A host of family and friends also survive. Pallbears Kyle Robinett (grandson), Sonny Polley, Easton Newell, Tommy Newell, Mikel Brown, John Surface and Johnny Flatt.
Visitation will be held on Friday November 05, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri.
Services to be held on Friday November 05, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri with Reverend Mikel Lee officiating.
Interment will follow in the Gravel Hill Cemetery with Watkins and Sons Funeral Service of Bloomfield in charge of arrangements.
Fannie Geraldine “Jerry” Coburn, daughter of the late Floyd Davis and Bessie Rogers Davis, was born on March 11, 1936, in Cardwell, Missouri, and departed this life on November 3, 2021, at Mulberry Manor in Dexter, Missouri, at the age of 85 years.
Mrs. Coburn was a former secretary at Southwest Elementary School in Dexter. She was a member of the Dexter Church of Christ and a resident of Dexter.
On March 11, 1936, in Mississippi, she was united in marriage to Richard Coburn. Mr. Coburn preceded her in death on January 29, 2011.
She is survived by her son, Vincent Coburn of Dexter, Missouri; by her daughter, Vicki Schweiss and husband Jeff of Fort Worth, Texas; by two grandchildren, Laura Ross and husband Adam of Midlothian, Texas and Maddie McCool and husband Brady of Midlothian, Texas; and by four great-grandchildren, Walker McCool, Lily McCool, Gavin Ross, and Hudson Ross.
Other than by her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother G. H. Davis; and by her sister, JoAnn Vaughn.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Monday, November 8, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
Graveside services will then be conducted at Dexter Cemetery on Monday, November 8, 2021, at 11:00 a.m.

George Namon Chafin Jr. of Starkville, Mississippi formerly of Gray Ridge, Missouri was born to the late George Namon Chafin Sr. and Alena Elizabeth Vance Chafin in Kennett, Missouri on August 25, 1935 and passed on November 1, 2021 in Rogers, Arkansas at the age of 86 years.
George had been a resident of Morehouse, and Gray Ridge, Missouri most of his life before moving to Starkville, Mississippi. George was in the US Army and was a member of the Artesia Mississippi Baptist Church in Artesia, Mississippi. George worked as an electrician in construction, he enjoyed bingo, fishing and was a member of Sikeston VFW and liked helping Mike paving parking lots, and went with Cindi & Glenn to check the cattle.
George married Francis Loetta Pennington on December 31,1953 in Holly Springs, Mississippi, she passed away on March 25, 2001.
Surviving are one daughter Cindi (Glenn) Chafin Oakley of Starkville, Mississippi: one son Mike (Faye Bilyeu) Chafin of Rogers, Arkansas; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren. George was preceded in death by one son Jimmy Chafin, two great grandchildren in infancy, six brothers and two sisters. A host of family and friends also survive.
Friends may visit on Wednesday November 3, 2021 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.

Gary Leon Zimmerman, son of the late Basil Zimmerman and Vera Juanita Inman Schoolcraft, was born on January 6, 1956, in San Marcos, Texas, and departed this life on November 1, 2021, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, at the age of 65 years. He was a resident of Puxico, Missouri.
Gary was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, stationed in Japan for 6 years. There he worked on military communications infrastructure. After his military service, he began a career in telecommunications, working his way up from lineman to a telecommunications executive with Southwestern Bell and AT&T.
In November 1995, Gary and two other individuals founded the pioneering internet company Savvis, Inc. based in St. Louis, Missouri. Gary built out the national network as head of engineering, which at the time was unique and revolutionary to the industry. Savvis grew to be one of the nation’s primary internet service providers, with 2,440 employees and sold to CenturyLink in 2011 for over $2.5 billion.
Gary concluded his telecommunications career with Verizon and retired to his farm near Puxico, Missouri to be with his daughter and grandchildren.
On August 22, 1980, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, he was united in marriage to Susan Lynan Nance. Gary loved and cared for others deeply and this was displayed by his years of love and personal care of Lynan in their home as she suffered through the final stages of early on-set Alzheimer's. Mrs. Zimmerman preceded him in death on December 19, 2016.
Gary selflessly devoted himself to his family and friends. There has never been a greater Papaw and if you ever had the pleasure of meeting him you called him friend.
He is survived by his daughter, Jen Oliver and husband Russ of Puxico, Missouri; by his son, Bryan Sink of Puxico, Missouri; by his sister, Jeanie King of Ash, North Carolina; and by three grandchildren, Emma, Jackson, and Chloe.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Monday, November 8, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
A memorial service will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, November 8, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Russ Oliver officiating.
Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
