Fannie Geraldine “Jerry” Coburn, daughter of the late Floyd Davis and Bessie Rogers Davis, was born on March 11, 1936, in Cardwell, Missouri, and departed this life on November 3, 2021, at Mulberry Manor in Dexter, Missouri, at the age of 85 years.
Mrs. Coburn was a former secretary at Southwest Elementary School in Dexter. She was a member of the Dexter Church of Christ and a resident of Dexter.
On March 11, 1936, in Mississippi, she was united in marriage to Richard Coburn. Mr. Coburn preceded her in death on January 29, 2011.
She is survived by her son, Vincent Coburn of Dexter, Missouri; by her daughter, Vicki Schweiss and husband Jeff of Fort Worth, Texas; by two grandchildren, Laura Ross and husband Adam of Midlothian, Texas and Maddie McCool and husband Brady of Midlothian, Texas; and by four great-grandchildren, Walker McCool, Lily McCool, Gavin Ross, and Hudson Ross.
Other than by her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother G. H. Davis; and by her sister, JoAnn Vaughn.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Monday, November 8, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
Graveside services will then be conducted at Dexter Cemetery on Monday, November 8, 2021, at 11:00 a.m.
