In Memory of Eujuina Johnson
Eujuina Johnson, daughter of the late Robert Bonner Livingston and Lena Mae Teeters Livingston was born in Bernie, Missouri on February 6, 1936 and departed this dear life at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 82.

Mrs. Johnson was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great friend to all she loved.  If you were her friend you were blessed.    She was well known for her hard work and love she had for all that she did.   She spent most of her life raising her 3 children and gardening, in which she was kind of famous for, and running the farm.  She also was as an employee of Brown Shoe Company in Bernie Missouri for many years, her love of growing up in her parent’s restaurant business and cooking kept her working long after retirement.

Survivors include, one daughter, La Dawn Owens & Rodger; by two sons, Bill Johnson & Brooke and Bob Johnson; by four grandchildren, Michael Johnson, Chris Spitzer, Natalie Zimmerman, and Briana Johnson; two step-grandchildren Rodney Owens and Richard Owens by nine great-grand children; one sister Connie Reynolds; one brother Ronnie Livingston; and by many other friends and relatives.

She was preceded in death other than by her parents, by one sister, Shelby Raspberry.

Friends may call at Bernie Christian Church in Bernie, Missouri on Sunday afternoon March 25, 2018 from 2 P.M. to 4 P.M.  Remembrance ceremony will begin at 4:00 PM at the Bernie Christian Church in Bernie Missouri.  Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.

In lieu of flowers the family ask all donations be made to:   Bernie Christian Church, PO Box 566 Bernie, MO 63822.

In Memory of Darrell Gene Gregory
Darrell Gene Gregory, son of the late James Willie Gregory and Lillie Jane Boone, was born on July 16, 1932 in Parma, Missouri and departed this life on March 21, 2018 at the Kindred Hospital in Sycamore, Illinois at the age of 85.

Mr. Gregory was united in marriage to Clarice Gregory on December 30, 2001.

Mr. Gregory worked as a machinist and was a Veteran of the Korean War. He enjoyed watching golf and the St. Louis Cardinals. He played baseball for the Parma Jets. He also enjoyed gardening, flowers and bird watching. He was a resident of Dexter, Missouri.

Survivors include; his wife, Clarice Gregory; three sons, Darrell Gregory Jr. (Theresa) of Austin, TX, Scott Gregory (Priscilla) of Bastrop, TX, Todd Gregory (Marla) of Roscoe, IL; one daughter, Lisa Miller (George) of Rockford, IL; two brothers Loyd Gregory of Loves Park, IL and Denver Gregory of Dexter, MO; by eight grandchildren, Zachary Miller (Jill), Matthew Miller (Amanda), Caitlin Miller, Austin Miller (Emily), James Gregory (Xiaodi), Lillian Gregory, Tara Shroeder (Tom), Julia Spinnie (Nate); by five great grandchildren, Blake Miller, Logan Miller, Ian Miller, Brian Shroeder and Harrison Shroeder.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James Gregory and Lillie Gregory; by three brothers, Howard Gregory, Dale Gregory, and Otis Gregory; by three sisters, Onval Noyes, Anza Henderson and Hazel Walker.

Friends may call Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri on Sunday, March 25, 2018 from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. Funeral services will be conducted on March 25, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery. Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.

In Memory of Blake Dawson Almond
Blake Dawson Almond, son of Jill (Dooley) Randall and Todd Almond, was born on May 4, 1999 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

He departed this life on March 18, 2018 at his home in St. Louis, Missouri, at the age of 18 years.

He is survived by his mother, Jill (Dooley) Randall of St. Louis; his father and step-mother, Todd and Tina Almond of Galesburg, Michigan; by one sister, Heather (Almond) Duncan (Allan) of Hot Springs, Arkansas; and by four brothers, Nicholas Randall and William Randall of the home; Taylor Almond (Shayla Storey) of Harper Woods, Michigan; Hunter Almond (Taylor) of Portage, Michigan; and by paternal grandparents, Mike and Becky (Hubbard) Almond of Dexter. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Gene and Rosalie Dooley of Bloomfield. Blake was known and loved by many others.

Friends and loved ones are invited to celebrate Blake’s life at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel on Friday, March 23, 2018 at 12 pm (noon), with funeral services beginning at 2 pm.

Interment will follow, when he will be laid to rest at Walker Cemetery in rural Bloomfield, Missouri.

Diane Cowell was born on April 20, 1951 in Anchorage, Alaska to the late Leroy Helton & Shirley Plumbly Helton. She departed this life on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at her residence in Malden, Missouri at the age of 66 years 10 months and 26 days.

Diane Cowell was united in marriage to Thomas Lloyd Cowell on February 4, 2005 in Piggott, Arkansas. Diane was a homemaker.

Her survivors include: Husband: Thomas Cowell of the home, Sons: Billy Borschnack of Malden, Tony Borschack & wife, Pam of Anchorage, Alaska, Joe Laylan of Malden & Joey Borschnack of Malden, Daughters: Billie Jean Borschnack of Malden, Julie Borschnack of Malden and Crystal Cowell of Anchorage, Alaska and 6 Grandchildren.  Siblings: Debbie Alvarez of Reno, Nevada, Kimberly Helton of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Rhonda Pelletier & husband, Gary of Reno, Nevada, Dena James & husband, Jeff of Anchorage, Alaska, Karen Helton of Anchorage, Alaska & LeRoy Helton, Jr. & wife, Susie of San Antonio, Texas, Step-brothers: Eddie Hubert & wife, Fran of Wasilla, Alaska, Perry Hubert of Wasilla, Alaska., Step-sister: Jeannie Gulch & husband, Mark of Michigan, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents: LeRoy Helton, Sr. & Shirley Hubert and 1 sister: Norma Jolly, step-sister: Susie Hubert and step-father: Billie J. Hubert

Memorial  services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden with Reverend Charles Richardson officiating.

In Memory of Carl Gene Hopkins
Carl Gene Hopkins of Dexter, son of the late Joe Bob and Margie Bernice Alford Hopkins, was born in Bird's Corner, Missouri on April 26, 1948, and passed away at the East Prairie Nursing Center in East Prairie on March 17, 2018, at the age of 69 years, 10 months and 21 days.

He had lived in Stoddard County all his life and Dexter the past twenty years. He had worked as a self employed carpenter.

Surviving are three sons, Johnny Hopkins and Michael Hopkins both of Bloomfield, James Hopkins of Dexter; one daughter, Sarah Hopkins of Catron; four brothers, Charles Hopkins of St. Louis, Dennis Hopkins of Bloomfield, Bobby Hopkins of Dexter; five sisters, Mary Conner and Marilyn Bratcher both of Dexter, Darlene Case of Dudley, Jelane Hickson of Circle City, and Sherry Branum of St. Louis. Other relatives and many friends also survive. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a great granddaughter, Kinsley Hensley Hopkins, two brothers, Keith and James Hopkins; and sister, Shelia Garvey.

Private memorial services are being planned for later.
