Diane Cowell was born on April 20, 1951 in Anchorage, Alaska to the late Leroy Helton & Shirley Plumbly Helton. She departed this life on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at her residence in Malden, Missouri at the age of 66 years 10 months and 26 days.
Diane Cowell was united in marriage to Thomas Lloyd Cowell on February 4, 2005 in Piggott, Arkansas. Diane was a homemaker.
Her survivors include: Husband: Thomas Cowell of the home, Sons: Billy Borschnack of Malden, Tony Borschack & wife, Pam of Anchorage, Alaska, Joe Laylan of Malden & Joey Borschnack of Malden, Daughters: Billie Jean Borschnack of Malden, Julie Borschnack of Malden and Crystal Cowell of Anchorage, Alaska and 6 Grandchildren. Siblings: Debbie Alvarez of Reno, Nevada, Kimberly Helton of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Rhonda Pelletier & husband, Gary of Reno, Nevada, Dena James & husband, Jeff of Anchorage, Alaska, Karen Helton of Anchorage, Alaska & LeRoy Helton, Jr. & wife, Susie of San Antonio, Texas, Step-brothers: Eddie Hubert & wife, Fran of Wasilla, Alaska, Perry Hubert of Wasilla, Alaska., Step-sister: Jeannie Gulch & husband, Mark of Michigan, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents: LeRoy Helton, Sr. & Shirley Hubert and 1 sister: Norma Jolly, step-sister: Susie Hubert and step-father: Billie J. Hubert
Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden with Reverend Charles Richardson officiating.

In Memory of Carl Gene Hopkins

Carl Gene Hopkins of Dexter, son of the late Joe Bob and Margie Bernice Alford Hopkins, was born in Bird's Corner, Missouri on April 26, 1948, and passed away at the East Prairie Nursing Center in East Prairie on March 17, 2018, at the age of 69 years, 10 months and 21 days.
He had lived in Stoddard County all his life and Dexter the past twenty years. He had worked as a self employed carpenter.
Surviving are three sons, Johnny Hopkins and Michael Hopkins both of Bloomfield, James Hopkins of Dexter; one daughter, Sarah Hopkins of Catron; four brothers, Charles Hopkins of St. Louis, Dennis Hopkins of Bloomfield, Bobby Hopkins of Dexter; five sisters, Mary Conner and Marilyn Bratcher both of Dexter, Darlene Case of Dudley, Jelane Hickson of Circle City, and Sherry Branum of St. Louis. Other relatives and many friends also survive. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a great granddaughter, Kinsley Hensley Hopkins, two brothers, Keith and James Hopkins; and sister, Shelia Garvey.
Private memorial services are being planned for later.

In Memory of Curtis Snow

Curtis R. Snow, son of the late Effie Elizabeth Snow was born in Townley, Missouri on June 7, 1923 and departed this life at Ridgeview Living Community in Malden, Missouri on March 19, 2018 at the age of 94.
Mr. Snow was a farmer and was of Christian faith.
He was united in marriage to Melbalene Rines in Piggott, Arkansas on December 13, 1947. Mrs. Snow preceded her husband in death on September 17, 2000.
He is survived by his cousin, Jerry Snow & wife Betty of Parma, Missouri; also by other friends.
He was preceded in death other than by his mother and his wife, by one sister, Dorothy Rowland.
No services are being planned at this time. Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home of Bernie in charge of all arrangements.

In Memory of Elsie Etta Temples

Elsie Etta Temples, the daughter of Walter Linvill White and Rosa Elizabeth Moore White, was born near Pyletown in rural Dexter, Missouri on February 27, 1922. She departed this life at Cypress Point Skilled Nursing Facility in Dexter, Missouri on March 17, 2018 at the age of 96 years.
She was united in marriage to Kenneth “Short” Temples on January 29, 1941 in Dexter, Missouri. To this union, two sons were born. Short preceded her in death on April 6, 1992.
Mrs. Temples was a lifelong Stoddard County resident and member of Pleasant Grove Church near Pyletown.
Surviving Mrs. Temples are her two sons, Garry Joe (Peggy) Temples of Bernie, Missouri, and Kenneth Leon (Janis) Temples of Hartselle, Alabama. Other survivors include four grandchildren: Lisa Turner of Bernie, Missouri, Tim Temples of Dexter, Missouri, Kevin Temples of Harvest, Alabama and Kelly Haws of Brentwood, Tennessee. Eight great-grandchildren also survive, as well as special nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Temples was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sisters and brothers. Siblings included Earl White, Pearl Lawrence, Willard White, Dorothy Riddle, Lee White and Norma Jean Ashabranner.
Services will be held on Tuesday, March 20th at Rainey Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie, Missouri, with visitation at 11:00 a.m. and funeral following at 1:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Sycamore Cemetery near Pyletown. Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.

In Memory of Linda Cuellar

Linda Cuellar, daughter of the late J. W. Willcutt and Ruth Richards Ingram was born on September 28, 1948 in Kansas City, Kansas and departed this life on March 10, 2018 at the Westfield Nursing Center in Sikeston, Missouri at the age of 69 years.
Mrs. Cuellar was a home maker and a resident of Sikeston, Missouri.
Survivors include: one son, Robert L. Mitchell (Dorothy) of Dexter, Missouri; one brother Timothy Willcutt of Kansas City, Kansas; by three sisters, Angelique L. Meyers of Edgerton, Kansas, Christine K. Kirkwood of Kansas City, Kansas and Sherry L. Hopkins of Ozawkie, Kansas; two step-grandchildren Hailey and Kali Pennebaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David Cuellar; her step-father, Roy L. Richards; two brothers, Jimmy Willcutt and Jerry Willcutt; by one sister, Kimberly Hawley.
A graveside service will be conducted at the Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery in Leavenworth, Kansas on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 1:30 P.M.
