Wanda Ramsey, daughter of the late George Edward Burris and Dora C. Moore Burris was born on December 12, 1931 in Ash Hill, Missouri and departed this life on January 29, 2018 at her residence in Benton, Missouri at the age of 86 years.

Mrs. Ramsey was a former waitress working in food service.

On September 27, 1977 she was united in marriage to Bobby Ray Ramsey.  Mr. Ramsey survives of the home in Benton, Missouri.

Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons, Mark Smith of Sikeston, Missouri, Jeff Allen Smith of Sacramento, California and Marvin E. Smith of Princeton, Missouri; by three brothers, William Burris, Donald Burris and Larry Burris all of California; by five sisters, Evelyn Murriel, Wilma May Williams, Ethel Permeta, LaDona June Bell, and Lavina Fay all of California; by nine grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 12:00 (Noon) at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri.

Ava Jean Kight of Bell City, daughter of Austin & Shana Grubbs Kight, was born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on June 9, 2014, passed away at the St. Louis Children's Hospital on January 27, 2018, at the age of 3 years, 7 months and 18 days.

Ava had lived in Bell City all her life and had attended the Cape LaCroix Church in Cape Girardeau. Ava could make anyone smile and never met a stranger, introducing herself “Hi Hi, I'm Ava Jean, what's your name?” She enjoyed everything about life. Ava would be seen in three tutu's and mismatched mud boots or her princess clomp clomp's. She enjoyed hiking, camping and picking Nana'a flowers and chasing butterflies and bees, with a smile that would melt the toughest heart.

Surviving are her parents, Austin & Shana Kight of Bell City; one sister, Cheyenne Marie Kight of Bell City; her paternal grandparents, David & Teresa (Scheible) Kight of Bell City; maternal grandparents, Jana Bennett of Dexter, Darrell & Lacey Grubbs of Bell City; and paternal great grandmother, Mary Ann Kight of Bell City; three aunts, Brooke Kight of Bell City, Melanie Geiger of Jefferson City, Carmen Maddox of Hawaii; and one uncle, Cody Kight of Chaffee. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by paternal great grandparents, Charles Kight, Bud & Edna Scheible; and maternal great grandparents, J.C. & Nora Bennett.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Chaplain Lewis C. Kimmel of Lake St. Louis officiating.

Interment will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery near Bloomfield with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home of Bloomfield in charge of arrangements.

Lindola Noe was born on December 28, 1940   in Clarkton, Missouri to the late Chester Barker and Edith Butts Barker.  

She departed this life on Friday, January 26, 2018 at the Southeast Health Center of Stoddard County in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 77 years 0 months and 28 days.

Lindola Noe  had been the bookkeeper for Barker-Noe in Malden and  was of the Methodist faith. Lindola was united in marriage to Dean Noe on November 25, 1960 in Malden, Missouri. He preceded her in death on Thursday, December 11, 2003.

Her  survivors include: 2 Sons: Scott Noe & wife, Jodie  of Malden and Shane Noe & wife, Waynette of Brandon, Mississippi. Grandchildren: Matthew Noe &Logan Noe of Springfield, Missouri, Lauren Noe of Brandon & Maddox Noe of Brandon, Mississippi. Brothers: Carl Barker & wife, Anita of Campbell, Bill Barker & wife, Phyllis of Astor, Florida and Jeff Barker & wife, Debi of Sikeston.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.

     

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Malden from 2-4 P.M. 

Funeral services will follow at 4:00 P.M. at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden with Mr. James Powell officiating.

Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.

Clifford Wamble, son of the late Louis Wamble and Joyce Robinson Wamble was born on April 3, 1940 in Dexter, Missouri and departed this life on January 25, 2018 at his residence in rural Dexter at the age of 77 years, surrounded by his wife and two children and daughter-in-law.

Mr. Wamble was a Veteran in the United States Air Force.  He was an employee of Arvin Automotive where he had retired, a member of the First United Methodist Church of Dexter and was a member of the American Legion.

On May 27, 1966, he was united in marriage to Deloris Quick in Dexter, Missouri.  Mrs. Wamble survives of the home in rural Dexter.

Survivors include: his wife Deloris; one son, Ryan Wamble and Cindy of Holcomb, Missouri; one daughter, Erin Wamble Burlew and Mike of Springfield, Missouri; by one brother, Don Wamble of Laurel, Mississippi; one sister Veda Ogan of Florissant, Missouri; by four grandchildren, Hallie Burlew of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Gavin Burlew Springfield, Missouri, Leah Robey and Drew of Dexter, Missouri and Myca Sutton of Dexter, Missouri; by his mother-in-law Wilma Quick of Dexter, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Joe Wamble.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home on Sunday, January 28, 2018 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. 

Services will be conducted on Monday, January 29, 2018 at 9:00 AM in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Pastor Ron Beaton officiating. 

Interment will follow at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield with full Military Honors.

Mara Lee Davis, Daughter of the late Roy Lindsay and Ella Higginbotham Lindsay was born in Broseley, Missouri on September 5, 1921 and departed this life at Miner Nursing Center near Sikeston, Missouri on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at the age of 96.

She was united in marriage to Herman Davis in Piggott, Arkansas on February 3, 1943.  Mrs. Davis preceded his wife in death on August 9, 2000.

Survivors include one son, Gary Davis of Austin, Texas; two daughters, Marilyn Kay Ferrell of Sikeston, Missouri and Martha Faye Davis of the home in Bernie; by one granddaughter Sasha Saleman & husband Elliott; by two Great-grandson’s, Simon and Ethan Saleman; also by other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death other than her parents and her husband, by one brother, Myrl Lindsay and his wife Helen.

Friends may call at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie, Missouri on Monday, January 29, 2018 from 10:30 A.M. until 1:00 P.M.   

Funeral services will then be conducted at 1:00 P.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Keith Crow officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.  Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
