Alice Jane Crawford of Puxico, daughter of the late Arthur Price  and Leona Gertrude Hopkins Moore, was born January 23,1932, in Marston, Missouri and passed away at her son and daughter-in-law's home in Oxly, Missouri on November 10, 2017, at the age of 85 years, 9 months and 17 days.

She had lived and worked in St. Louis as a transportation secretary for Benjamin Moore Paints for many years. After her retirement she moved to Puxico. She attended the First Christian Church in Puxico where she participated in many church activities. She loved to crochet, reading and studying her Bible.

On May 8, 1952, she married Floyd Lynn "Nub" Crawford in Pocahontas, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on January 11, 2004.

Surviving are five children Patricia Jean Crawford-Herrin of Harrison, Arkansas, Daniel Lynn Crawford of St. Louis, Missouri, Peggy Jane Sharp of Harrison Arkansas, Michael Floyd and spouse Ina Crawford of Oxly, Missouri and Timothy Alan Crawford of St. Louis, Missouri. Ten grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

Other relatives and friends also survive.

She was preceded in death by two brothers Arthur Robert Moore and August Vernon Moore; two sisters, Helen Lorraine Cameron and Mary Ruth Arhontis. One granddaughter, Dana Rene Wigington and one grandson Timothy Ryan Sharp in infancy.

Family and Friends may call on Sunday, November 12, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the  Watkins & Sons Chapel in Puxico.  

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Monday, November 13, 2017 at the First Christian Church in Puxico.

Interment will follow at the Duck Creek Cemetery near Puxico, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico in charge of arrangements.

Neita Floe Pullum, daughter of the late Cecil Cook and Gertie Gann Cook, was born in Bernie, Missouri on September 16, 1934 and departed this life in Malden Nursing Center in Malden, Missouri on November 8, 2017 at the age of 83.

Mrs. Pullum was a homemaker and a member of First Assembly of God in Bernie.

She was united in marriage to Floyd Pullum in Hernando, Mississippi in the month of May, 1957.  Mr. Pullum preceded his wife in death on March 30, 2010.

Survivors include one daughter, Tammy Sue Barnes & husband Butch of Bernie, Missouri; by one granddaughter, Kristy Bates & husband Wesley of Dexter, Missouri; by one brother, Clifford Cook of Dexter, Missouri; by five sisters, Bernice Whitehead of Festus, Missouri, Bertie Pullum of Dexter, Missouri, Barbara Maddox of Malden, Missouri, Judy Walker of Bernie, Missouri and Della Crossland of Festus, Missouri; also by other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death other than by her parents and her husband, by two brothers, Bill Cook & Carlyn “Dee” Cook; by one sister, Carolyn Link.

Friends may call at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie, Missouri on Saturday, November 11, 2017 from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M.   

Funeral services will then be conducted at 11:00 A.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Bernie with Rev. Jim Davis officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.  Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.

Grady Gregory, son of the late John Gregory and Clenny Barrett Gregory was born on July 1, 1922 in Parma, Missouri and departed this life on November 7, 2017 at the Delta South Skilled Nursing Facility in Sikeston, Missouri at the age of 95.

Mr. Gregory was an employee for the Frisco Railroad for 17 years and was a former Grocery Store owner in Parma, Missouri for 23 years.  He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Morehouse, Missouri.

On January 19, 1943, he was united in marriage to Eva Jane Bell.  She preceded him in death on February 6, 2015.

Survivors include: two sons, Reggie Gregory and Teresa of Advance, Mo and Steven Neil Gregory and wife Belinda of Malden, Mo; by one daughter, Nina Jean Graves and husband Mel of

Sikeston, Mo; by daughter-in-law, Angie Gregory of Dudley, Mo; by five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, Granville “Cate” Gregory; by six brothers and four sisters.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Friday, November 10, 2017 from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM. 

Services will be conducted on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with nephew Joe Gregory speaking. 

Interment will follow at the Parma Cemetery.

Brylee Ann Hudson, daughter of William and Amanda Quoos Hudson of Dexter was born on May 31st, 2016 at Cape Girardeau, Missouri and gained her heavenly wings on November 4th, 2017 at the Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. 

Brylee was called to her heavenly home after only 17 months due to her battle with a rare form of Mitochondrial Disease and though her life was short she showed us a warrior’s heart. Every day she taught us how to laugh and love, bringing out the beauty of life itself. Her smile could light up the room and did daily. Her laughter would lift a soul. She blessed our lives and those around her with her strength and perseverance despite her physical limitations.

Some of Brylee’s favorite things to do were to sit by the window enjoying the sunshine and laying on her tummy. Anytime you saw Brylee she most likely would have her hands in her mouth and even though she was a quiet baby she radiated with joy.  She also loved when her big sister, Aubryn, would hold her or read to her “Who loves Aubryn and Brylee” a book mommy and daddy had made. She was mesmerized by anything yellow, her favorite was a bright yellow lei. Her favorite songs were “You are my sunshine”, “Rock-a-bye baby”, and when daddy would sing “Twinkle, twinkle little star”.  She truly was a shining star. 

Brylee’s passing will remind others that her life is one to be celebrated. Although she will be greatly missed every day, especially her beautiful smile, she has left permanent footprints on our hearts. 

Brylee is survived by her parents Keith and Amanda Quoos Hudson, one brother, William Taylor Hudson of Pennsylvania and one sister Aubryn Elizabeth Hudson of Dexter; by her maternal grandmother, Rebecca[ Quoos of Bloomfield; by her paternal great-grandmother Shirley Taylor of Georgia, Cynthia Favata of Nevada and by her paternal grandfather, Danny Hudson of Georgia. 

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Ronald Quoos. 

A memorial service will be held at First General Baptist Church in Bloomfield, Missouri on Saturday, November 11th, 2017. Family will gather from 11 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., friends will be welcomed from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Service begins at 1:00 p.m. to celebrate Brylee’s beautiful life. 

We as a family ask that everyone please wear something colorful for Brylee, for she had such a colorful soul. In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made to United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation in Brylee’s honor. 

Mr. Timothy Mark Crutchfield, age 51 of Dexter, Mo and formerly of Graves County, Ky passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at the Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

He was a Cashier at Wal-Mart in Cape Girardeau, and a member of the Morley Church of Christ in Morley, Mo.

Mr. Crutchfield is survived by his wife- Tracy Lynn Crutchfield of Dexter, Mo; son- Darrin Randel of Dexter, Mo; Mother & Stepfather- Margaret Douthitt (David) Gilbert of Cuba, Ky; Father & Stepmother- Dennis (Elizabeth Ann) Crutchfield of Sikeston, Mo; brother- David (Brandy) Crutchfield of Georgetown, Ky.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents- Louis & Reba Douthitt, and Ralph & Viola Crutchfield.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Home in Wingo, Ky with Bro. Will McSweeney officiating.
