In Memory of Alice Jane Crawford
Alice Jane Crawford of Puxico, daughter of the late Arthur Price  and Leona Gertrude Hopkins Moore, was born January 23,1932, in Marston, Missouri and passed away at her son and daughter-in-law's home in Oxly, Missouri on November 10, 2017, at the age of 85 years, 9 months and 17 days.

She had lived and worked in St. Louis as a transportation secretary for Benjamin Moore Paints for many years. After her retirement she moved to Puxico. She attended the First Christian Church in Puxico where she participated in many church activities. She loved to crochet, reading and studying her Bible.

On May 8, 1952, she married Floyd Lynn "Nub" Crawford in Pocahontas, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on January 11, 2004.

Surviving are five children Patricia Jean Crawford-Herrin of Harrison, Arkansas, Daniel Lynn Crawford of St. Louis, Missouri, Peggy Jane Sharp of Harrison Arkansas, Michael Floyd and spouse Ina Crawford of Oxly, Missouri and Timothy Alan Crawford of St. Louis, Missouri. Ten grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
Other relatives and friends also survive.

She was preceded in death by two brothers Arthur Robert Moore and August Vernon Moore; two sisters, Helen Lorraine Cameron and Mary Ruth Arhontis. One granddaughter, Dana Rene Wigington and one grandson Timothy Ryan Sharp in infancy.

Family and Friends may call on Sunday, November 12, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the  Watkins & Sons Chapel in Puxico.  

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Monday, November 13, 2017 at the First Christian Church in Puxico.

Interment will follow at the Duck Creek Cemetery near Puxico, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico in charge of arrangements.
