Carrol Chaney, daughter of the late Dan Hanson and Erlene Abernathy Hanson, was born on May 6, 1942 in Anderson, Indiana and died on November 5, 2017 at her residence in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 75.

She was employed by the State of Missouri and was a legal secretary.

Survivors include two daughters, Cindy and Allen Wheeler and Janey Tollison, both of Dexter, Missouri; one grandson, Josey Roper, and a sister, Judy and Joe Garner of east Prairie, Missouri.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Nancy Parker.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at 2:00 PM in East Prairie at the East Prairie Memorial Cemetery.
