In Memory of Bonnie Sue Stitz
Bonnie Sue Stitz, daughter of the late James Newton Cantrell and Mattie Lou May Simino Cantrell, was born on July 2, 1946 in Morehouse and departed this life on November 4, 2017 at her residence in Dexter at the age of 71.

Mrs. Stitz was formerly employed at Elder’s Manufacturing and Paramount Hat Company as a hat inspector.  She was a member of the Church of God Church in Dudley and was a resident of Dexter.

On November 5, 1961 she was united in marriage to Floyd Stitz in Fisk, Missouri.  Mr. Stitz survives of their residence in Dexter.

Besides her husband she is survived by one son, Robert Stitz of Bloomfield and by one daughter, Karen Rainey of Bloomfield; by one sister, Kathy Eubanks of Patton, Missouri; by six grandchildren, Jessica Loveless, Kelly Waldrup, Emily Green, Zachary Rainey, Kyle Rainey and Hailey Rainey and by seven great-grandchildren, Kloe Green, Landrey Green, Liam Rainey, Trevor Kinder, Liam Loveless, Tatiana Loveless and Maya Loveless.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM. 

Services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jerry Metcalf officiating.

In Memory of Zerlene Stafford
Zerlene Stafford, daughter of the late Zerl Langston and Edith Wallace Midgett was born on January 17. 1941 in Newport, Arkansas and departed this life on November 4, 2017 at the Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 76.

Mrs. Stafford was a homemaker and attended the Freewill Baptist Church in Malden, Missouri.

Survivors include; one son, Randy Stafford of Dexter, Mo; by two daughters, Teresa Moriarty and husband JM “Moe” of Dexter, Mo and Diane Seiter and husband Steve of Wappapello, Mo; by one brother, Terry Midgett of Risco, Mo; by three sisters, Linda Bradley of Kennett, Mo, Darlene Rowland of Dexter, Mo and Sheila Heartling of Jackson, Mo; by three grandchildren, Travis Stafford, Trent Stafford, Emily Ward and husband Nick; by two great-grandchildren, Riley and Raigan Stafford.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Ronnie Midgett, Jimmy Midgett and Ricky Midgett.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.  Services will be conducted on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the

Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Elijah Allen officiating.  

Memorial can be made to ALS Association, St. Louis Regional Chapter, 2258 Weldon Parkway, St. Louis, Mo 63146-3206.

In Memory of Gary Charles Williams
Gary Charles Williams of Miner, son of the late Walter Dees and Alice Delene Phillips Williams, was born in Avert, Missouri on, November 11, 1942  and passed away at the Miner Nursing Home in Miner, Missouri on November 4, 2017, at the age of 74 years, 11 months and 25 days.

Gary considered Dexter his home and had lived in the area most of his life. He worked as a self employed auto body repairman. He had attended the Faith Family Church Church.

Surviving are three daughters & sons in law, Sally Williams & Arnold Breen of Foristell, Missouri, Allie & Jerrod Rowland of Dexter, Jennifer Williams of St. Louis; three sons & daughter in law, David Williams of Dexter, Michael Williams of Bell City, Gary, Jr. & Megan Williams of Fairbanks, Alaska; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; three sisters & brother in law, Brenda Burnett of Owosso, Michigan, Sharon & Bob McIntyre of Advance, Susie Everisto of Lake Elsinore, California. Three nieces, two nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive.

Friends may call on Wednesday, November 8, 2017, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter until time of services at 3:00 p.m. with the Rev. Don Jolliff of Painton officiating.

Interment will be in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the Humane Society, 328 N. West Street, Sikeston, Missouri 63801.

In Memory of Bob Wallace
Bob Wallace of Puxico, son of the late Robert Lee and Sweetie M. Miller Wallace, was born on January 9, 1935, in Fisk, Missouri and passed away at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff on November 3, 2017, at the age of 82 years, 9 months and 25 days.

He had lived in St. Louis and worked as an electrical engineer before returning to Puxico. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy, a member of the Church of Christ and enjoyed woodworking, hunting and fishing.

Surviving are two sons & daughter in law, Robert Wallace, Matthew & Jeriann Wallace all of Puxico; one daughter & son in law, Jennifer & Scott Bowling of Puxico; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one brother & sister in law, Ronald & Cheryl Wallace of Jefferson City, Missouri. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Edward Wallace and a sister Rosalie Dickey.

Friends may call on Monday, November 6, 2017, from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico until time of services at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Keith Sandlin of Poplar Bluff officiating.

Interment will follow at the Ash Hill Cemetery near Fisk, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico in charge of arrangements.

In Memory of Donald Lee
Donald Wayne Lee, son of the late Charlie Milton Lee and Virginia Vivian Chase Lee was born on February 11, 1947 in Pontiac, Michigan and departed this life on November 1, 2017 at the Poplar Bluff Medical Center at the age of 70.

Mr. Lee was a Veteran of the United States Army and served in Vietnam and received the Purple Heart.  

He formerly worked as a laborer in the Construction business and was a resident of Dudley, Missouri.

Survivors include, one daughter, Serena Cavaner of Sturdivant, Missouri; by one brother, Charles Edward Lee of Missouri; by one grandson, Bryson Cavaner.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Monday, November 6, 2017 from 9:30 to 11:00 AM. 

Services will be conducted on Monday, November 6, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Bro. Tommy Miller officiating. 

Interment will follow at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery.
