
Nona Juanita Parish, daughter of the late Leslie Norden and Lenora Evans Norden was born in Jackson, Tennessee on May 16, 1926 and departed this life at her Son’s residence in Bernie, Missouri on January 14, 2016 at the age of 89.
Mrs. Parish had been a homemaker and had attended Bernie Nazarene Church.
She was united in marriage to Lorn O’Neil Parish in Piggott, Arkansas on August 14, 1948. He preceded his wife in death on July 5, 2010
Survivors include one son, Sammie Lynn Parish of Bernie, Missouri; by two grandchildren; by four Great-Grandchildren and Five Great-Great-Grandchildren; also by other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death other than by her parents and her husband, by two brothers, E.J. Norden in infancy and Farwell Norden.
Graveside services will be conducted on Saturday, January 16, 2016 in Bernie Cemetery, starting at 11:00 A.M. Rev. Robert Hamm officiating. Interment will follow. Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.

David Lynn Davis, son of the late Alfred and Essie Cookson Davis, was born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on February 2, 1952, and passed away at the Mark Twain Caring Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on January 13, 2016, at the age of 63 years, 11 months and 11 days.
Mr. Davis had lived most of his life in Puxico, Missouri. He had been affiliated with the Stoddard County ARC since 1989 and had lived in the ARC Group Home for several years before moving to the Mark Twain Caring Center a year ago. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church, had competed in the Special Olympics for several years and had a love for trains.
Surviving are eight first cousins, Leon Cookson and Dellis Cookson both of Puxico, Missouri, James Cookson of Springfield, Missouri, Shirley Martin of St. Charles, Missouri, Linda Anthony of O'Fallon, Missouri, Carolyn Roberson of Ballwin, Missouri, Paul Cookson of Advance, Missouri, Marvell Wheetly of Puxico, Missouri. Other relatives and many friends also survive.
Friends may call on Tuesday, January 19, 2016, after 1:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Puxico, Missouri with Rev. Ray Placher of Puxico, Missouri officiating.
Interment will follow in the Brown Cemetery near Puxico, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico, Missouri in charge of arrangements.

Betty Jo McClane, daughter of the late Garland O’Neil Coffman and Linnie Mae Dowdy Coffman was born in Bernie, Missouri on March 15, 1936 and departed this life at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on January 12, 2016 at the age of 79.
Mrs. McClane was a homemaker and a active member of Bernie Church of Christ.
She was united in marriage to Calvin B. McClane in Indianapolis, Indiana on June 3, 1952. Mr. McClane preceded his wife in death January 1991.
Survivors include four sons, Curtis McClane of Oakridge, Tennessee, John McClane of Columbia, Missouri, Larry McClane of Ootsberg, Wisconsin and Mark McClane of Livermore, Colorado; by two daughters, Sandra Moore of Bernie, Missouri and Bonita Carvey of Plainfield, Indiana; by twelve grandchildren and numerous Great-Grandchildren; also by other relatives and many friends.
Friends may call at Bernie Church of Christ on Friday Morning, January 15, 2016 from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M.
Funeral services will then be conducted at 10:00 A.M. with Stan Dauck officiating.
Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.

Erik A. Meester, son of the late Fritz Meester and Anna Houbergan Meester, was born on April 20, 1957 in Tilburg, Holland (Netherlands) and departed this life on January 10, 2016 at his residence in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 58.
Mr. Meester had worked as an auto welder at Arvin Automotive in Dexter.
He is survived by his fiancé, Patricia Moore, of Dexter.

Granville Hobart “Bob” Northcutt, Jr., son of the late Granville Hobart, Sr. and Daisy Northcutt, was born near Bell City, Missouri on September 30, 1927, and passed away at the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter, Missouri on January 10, 2016, at the age of 88 years.
He had lived in the Bell City and Bloomfield areas all his life. He was a member of the United Methodist Church and was a veteran of the U. S. Army and had served in Korea. He had farmed and worked in building salvage.
Surviving are one brother, Rudy Northcutt of Kalkaska, Michigan; and many nieces and nephews. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Bing Northcutt, Marshall Hobart Northcutt and two in infancy, Michael and Ike; and one sister, Montie Northcutt.
Graveside services will be on Friday, January 15, 2016, at 1:30 p.m. at the Bloomfield Cemetery in Bloomfield with Rev. Richard Northcutt of Kirksville, Missouri officiating.
Interment will follow with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home of Bloomfield, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
