
Granville Hobart “Bob” Northcutt, Jr., son of the late Granville Hobart, Sr. and Daisy Northcutt, was born near Bell City, Missouri on September 30, 1927, and passed away at the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter, Missouri on January 10, 2016, at the age of 88 years.
He had lived in the Bell City and Bloomfield areas all his life. He was a member of the United Methodist Church and was a veteran of the U. S. Army and had served in Korea. He had farmed and worked in building salvage.
Surviving are one brother, Rudy Northcutt of Kalkaska, Michigan; and many nieces and nephews. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Bing Northcutt, Marshall Hobart Northcutt and two in infancy, Michael and Ike; and one sister, Montie Northcutt.
Graveside services will be on Friday, January 15, 2016, at 1:30 p.m. at the Bloomfield Cemetery in Bloomfield with Rev. Richard Northcutt of Kirksville, Missouri officiating.
Interment will follow with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home of Bloomfield, Missouri in charge of arrangements.

Sherry Ann Cobb, daughter of Gary Lee Cobb and Velma Jean Lambert Cobb was born in Bernie, Missouri on December 16, 1974 and departed this life at her home in Bernie, Missouri on January 6, 2016 at the age of 41 Years.
Ms. Cobb had worked in Home Health and was a resident of Bernie.
Survivors include her parents, Gary Lee and Velma Jean Cobb of Bernie, Missouri; by one son, Jessie Cobb of Dexter, Missouri; by one daughter, Sahara Cobb of Dexter, Missouri; by two sisters, Cary Cobb of Malden, Missouri and Wendy Pulliam of Bernie, Missouri; by four grandchildren, Aria Baker, Zoie Winder, Zayden Cobb and Jordyn Winder; by her Grandmother, Edna Easley of Malden, Missouri; by one long time Friend/Companion, Tim Hurley of Bernie, Missouri; also by other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her Grandmother, Viola Cobb.

Welta Marie Young Cross, daughter of the late William Oades Adams and Wilma Howell Adams was born in Bernie, Missouri on February 15, 1925 and departed this life in Mulberry Manor, Dexter, Missouri on January 10, 2016 at the age of 90.
Mrs. Young had been a homemaker and was a member of Bernie Nazarene Church.
She was united in marriage to Robert Lee Young in Piggott, Arkansas on March 31, 1940. Mr. Young preceded his wife in death on March 26, 1995. She later was united in marriage to James Cross in Clearwater, Florida on January 18, 2005. Mr. Cross preceded his wife in death on June 10, 2008.
Survivors include one son, Robert Lee Young Jr & wife Kim of Bernie, Missouri; by two daughters, Margaret Cox & husband Dennis of Dexter, Missouri and Linda Quinn & husband Jerry of Dexter, Missouri; by one brother, Marvin Lee Adams of Bernie, Missouri; by Seven grandchildren, Eleven Great-Grandchildren and Three Great-Great-Grandchildren; also by other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death other than by her parents and her husbands, by one brother, William L. Adams; by two sisters, Martha Hampton and Lela Esterline.

John L. Geary, son of Lawrence Ray Geary and the late Shirley Davis Geary, was born in Dexter, Missouri on August 9, 1956, and passed away at his home in Aquilla, Missouri on January 8, 2016, at the age of 59 years.
He had lived in Aquilla all of his life. He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Pittsburgh, Missouri. He had managed Geary Tires and was a charter member of the Delaware Trace Free Trappers.
On December 16, 1989 he was married to Regina “Jeannie” Boothe in Aquilla, Missouri.
Surviving are his wife, Regina “Jeannie” Geary of Aquilla, Missouri; one son, Eric Geary of Aquilla, Missouri; three daughters and husbands,Christina & Kyle Thoele of Hermitage, Missouri, Chatelle & Joey Cagle of Bloomfield, Missouri, Patricia & Randy Boswell of East Prairie, Missouri; father & step-mother, Lawrence & Judy Geary of Aquilla, Missouri; eleven grandchildren, Brett, Alex, Kayla, Nathan, Jonathan, Alex, Teva, Avery, Wesley, Mariah and Zayne; one great grandson, Isacc; one brother, Daniel Leija of Bismark, Missouri; and one sister & husband, Rayla & Ray Gene Tackett of Dexter, Missouri. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Davis Geary; brother, Sammy “Bo” Geary; and father in law, Alex Boothe.

Melvin Lee Cagle, son of the late Frank and Lula Elizabeth Triplett Cagle, was born in Essex, Missouri on February 11, 1925 and passed away at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri on January 8, 2016, at the age of 90 years 10 months, and 27 days.
Melvin had lived in Stoddard and New Madrid County for most of his life. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed gardening, fishing, and hunting. He had worked for Cato Welding as a welder. Melvin served in the US Army during World War II.
On March 25, 1944, he was married to Muriel Gay Woodson in Stoddard County, Missouri. She preceded him in death.
Surviving are three sons, Tim Cagle of Matthews, Missouri, Terry Cagle of Dexter, and Tommy Cagle of Swansboro, North Carolina; two daughters, Lula Mae Boshell of Oran, Missouri and Laura Jane Johnson of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; nine grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; two brothers, Willie Franklin Cagle of Sikeston and Jerry Cagle of Woodville, Texas; and one sister, Illen Wise of Newberg, Indiana. Other relatives and many friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one son, Larry Cagle; one granddaughter, Brenda Rattae; one great grandson, Hunter Boshell; and four sisters, Marie Pullum, Imogene Sullivant, Janet Foster, and Effie Mae Cagle.
