Jimmie Charles Midgett
Jimmie Charles Midgett, son of the late Charles Aubry and Edith Lilly Wallace Midgett, was born in Risco, Missouri, on December 24, 1950, and passed away at his home in Dexter July 31, 2015, at the age 64 of years.

He had lived in Risco, Missouri where he worked at the Risco Public Schools, he moved to Ashland, Missouri and worked at the Ashland Public Schools until he moved to Dexter in 1999.

He had been a member of the First Baptist Church in Risco and was a veteran of the U. S. Navy.

In September of 2000 he was married to Janice Elaine Hester in Poplar Bluff.

Surviving are his wife, Janice Midgett of Dexter; one son, Dustin Midgett of Ashland, Missouri; one daughter and husband, Kacey & Adam Shelton of Ashland, Missouri; two grandchildren; one brother, Terry Midgett of Risco, Missouri; four sisters, Zerlene Stafford and Darlene Rowland both of Dexter, Missouri, Linda Bradley of Kennett, Missouri and Sheila Haertling of Jackson, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Carol Faye Midgett, and three brothers, Doyle Wayne, Ricky Gene and Ronnie Gene Midgett.

Funeral services will be Wednesday August 5, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with Rev. Lewis Scott of Marble Hill, Missouri officiating.

Interment will follow in the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.

Sharon Mae Goodman, daughter of the late Leo W. Tibbs and Ruby Ann Provance Tibbs, was born on February 14, 1948 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri and departed this life on August 1, 2015 at Southeast Health of Stoddard County in Dexter at the age of 67.

Mrs. Goodman had worked as a cashier at Amerimart and was a resident of Dexter.

On December 27, 1997, she was united in marriage to Herman Goodman in Dexter.  Mr. Goodman preceded her in death on May 26, 2001.

She is survived by one daughter, Lori Ann Scolley of Dexter; by one grandchild, Heath Moore; and by two great-grandchildren, Halie and Keagan Moore.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Leo Tibbs; and by one sister, Ruby Elaine Hurley. 

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 from 12:30 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. 

Funeral services will follow in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Joe Payne officiating.

Jarrett Thomas "Buddy" Frazier, son of Cathy Shipman of Cape Girardeau, Missouri and the late Brett Frazier, was born on March 13, 1987 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri and departed this life on July 24, 2015 in Hilo, Hawaii at the age of 28.

Jarrett had worked in construction and was a resident of Hilo, Hawaii.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by one sister, Misty Edmonds of Cape Girardeau; by three nephews, Jacquin Triplett, JaRon Edmonds and Waylon Powell; by his paternal grandparents, Tom and Rita Frazier of Dexter; and by his long-time girlfriend, Ashley Whitt of Springfield, Missouri.

Besides his father, one sister, Erin Powell, preceded him in death.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on July 31, 2015 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.

A memorial service will follow in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel.

The family requests that donations be made to the Humane Society of Southeast Missouri, 2536 Boutin Drive, Cape Girardeau, Missouri 63701.

Ida LaVaugh Nichols Baringer, daughter of the late William Joseph Nichols and Laura Rose Hendley Nichols was born in Bernie, Missouri on March 27, 1934 and departed this life at Winchester Place, in Bernie, Missouri on July 27, 2015 at the age of 81.

Ms. Baringer had served in the United States Air Force, later she had worked as a Switch Board PBS Operator at Malden Air Force Base and also in Bernie. 

Survivors include two sons, Airey Norman Baringer II of Louisville, Texas and William Nichols Baringer of Corpus Christi, Texas; by one daughter, Robin Alexis of Houston, Texas; by three sisters, Shirley Louise McGowan, Sherian Lee Todd and Linda Sue Duncan all of Bernie, Missouri; by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; also by other relatives and friends. 

Graveside services will be conducted in Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri on Friday, July 31, 2015 starting at 11:00 A.M. With Full Military Honors. 

Rev. James Todd officiating.  Interment will follow.

Clara Mae Cooper, daughter of the late Arlie William McFarlin and Mary Magdalene Owens McFarlin was born in Campbell, Missouri on December 1, 1933 and departed this life in Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on July 26, 2015 at the age of 81.

Mrs. Cooper had worked at Brown Shoe Company in Bernie for 32 years.  She was a member of Bernie Church of Christ and a resident of Bernie.

She was united in marriage to Travis Dale Cooper in Piggott, Arkansas on January 12, 1952.  Mr. Cooper remains in their home in Bernie.

Other survivors include one son, Randall Keith Cooper of Dexter, Missouri; by one daughter, Sherry Lynn Barnes of Bernie, Missouri; by two grandchildren, Travis Andrew Randall Cooper and Christopher Allen Barnes; also by other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death, other than by her parents, by one son, Ronald Dale Cooper on September 10, 2014.  Also by one brother and one sister.

Graveside services will be conducted in Bernie Cemetery on Thursday, July 30, 2015 starting at 11:00 A.M.  Interment will follow.  Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
