She had lived most of her life in Puxico, Missouri. She and her husband had owned and operated various businesses including Navajo Motel and Grocery, Smith and Scott Appliance Store, and she retired from the Scott Florist. She had been a member of the First Baptist Church in Puxico for many years and was a member of the Faith Baptist Church. She was a 1937 graduate of Puxico High School.
On October 28, 1939, she was married to Alvin L. Scott in Puxico, Missouri. He preceded her in death on September 2, 2006.
Surviving are one son, Doug Scott of Puxico, Missouri; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and several great great grandchildren and one sister, Margaret Rittenhouse of Chesterfield, Missouri. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one son, J. Barry Scott.

She had lived in St. Louis, Kansas City and Pacific Grove, California before returning to Puxico in 1946. She was a member of the First Methodist Church in Puxico, the Southeast Missouri China Painters, a charter member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post #7822 and the Thursday Culture Club. She had been a clerk in the Puxico Post Office, Postmaster at Clarkton and had been the clerk for the city of Puxico. She graduated from Puxico High School and from Three Rivers Community College with an AA degree.
On July 17, 1946, she was married to Dean Wilhelm in Pocahontas, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on October 11, 1997.
Surviving are three daughters and husbands, Cathy & Nelson Oakley of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Nancy Wilhelm of Cape Girardeau, Tammy & Tom Street of Bloomfield; and one granddaughter, Lee Miller of Puxico. Other relatives and friends also survive.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Mitchell Thomas and one sister, Julia Williams.
Graveside Funeral services will be held on Sunday September 21, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. at the Puxico Cemetery in Puxico, Missouri with Rev. Wayne Burchett of Puxico officiating.
Interment will follow in the Puxico Cemetery in Puxico, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico in charge of arrangements.

Richard Hart, son of Ora Calvin Hart of Advance, Missouri and the late Amos Hart, was born on February 4, 1940 in Catron, Missouri and departed this life on September 18, 2014 at his residence in Essex, Missouri at the age of 74.
Mr. Hart was of the Baptist faith and had worked as a Safety Engineer for Oxidental Petroleum for thirty-three years and as a Environmental Engineer for the Dexter Hospital for nine years. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and served in the HM3 Medical Corp. He was a member of the American Legion Post 382 in Bloomfield, Missouri and a 10-year member of the Stoddard County Honor Guard.
On September 14, 1996, he was united in marriage to Sharon Kaye Hart in Dexter, Missouri. Mrs. Hart survives of the home.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by one son, Michael Hart and his wife Carie of Lakewood, California; by two stepsons, Keith Duffie and his wife Nancy of Candler, North Carolina and Kevin Duffie of Clarksville, Tennessee; by one stepdaughter, Tammy Johnson and her husband Paul of Hull, Massachussetts; by three brothers, Harold Hart and his wife Vivian of Bell City, Missouri, Mitchell Hart and his wife Mary of Advance, Missouri and Butch Hart and his wife Sharon of Advance, Missouri; and by eight grandchildren, Heith, Logan, Devin, Ethan, Styles, Danielle, Andreus and Gunnar.
Besides his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, Thomas Hart.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Monday, September 22, 2014 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
Graveside services will be conducted at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. with M.A. Hart and Jack Gilles officiating.
Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with full Military Honors.

She had lived in Parma until the 1990's when she moved to Essex and moved to Dexter one year ago.
Surviving are her niece, Angela Dzvonar of Dudley, Missouri; three great nieces, Kylie Million, Keri Sloan and Samantha Isbell all of Dexter, Missouri; three great great nieces, Sophia Isbell, Emma Sloan and Mackenzie Million; and two great great nephews, Erick Million and Ricky Harris, III. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one sister, Marva Gromer, and one niece, Billie Gromer.

Bobby W. Stone, son of the late Harold Stone and Pauline Chandler Stone, was born on May 3, 1949 in Malden, Missouri and departed this life at Southeast Health Center of Stoddard County in Dexter on September 17, 2014 at the age of 65.
Bobby attended the University of Missouri and Sterling College where he obtained a degree in Business Management. He was employed at Arvin for thirty-two years as a Quality Engineer when he retired in 2011.
On December 31, 1972, he was united in marriage to Debbie Adkins. Mrs. Stone survives of the home.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his “kids”, Kerry Joe James, Summer (Smith) McGowan, Gabe Smith and Kalli (James) Faulkner. Bobby and Debbie never had children of their own, but they claimed Kerry, Summer, Gabe and Kalli as theirs. He is also survived by six “grandchildren”, Alexis Smith, Madison McGowan, Jarred Swindell, Karsyn Smith, Maddi Faulkner and Jessi James; by two brothers Carl Stone and Larry Stone; and by one sister, Teresa Gail Stone.

A memorial service will be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 3:00 P.M. with Rev. Ed Dunivan officiating.
Interment will follow in the Chalk Bluff Cemetery in Dexter.
