
Kathy House, daughter of the late Alvin and Mary Inman Wells, was born in Holland, Michigan on June 15, 1965, and passed away at her home in Dexter, Missouri on June 4, 2014, at the age of 48 years, 11 months and 20 days.
She had lived in Michigan before moving to Dexter ten year ago. She was a member of the Sweet Prospect Baptist Church in Dexter, Missouri. She enjoyed shopping, yard sales and spending time with her grandchildren.
On November 8, 1981, she was married to Rick House in Allegan, Michigan.
Surviving are her husband, Rich House of Dexter; two sons and spouse, Rick House, Jr. of Dexter, Ross & Samantha Wolters of Bloomfield; two daughters and spouse, Marah & Robert Page of Salem, Alabama, Deanna Torres of Dexter; six grandchildren, McKenzie, Emma & Eli Page all of Salem, Alabama, Domanick Jones and Aidan Wolters both of Bloomfield, Alfonzo Torres of Dexter; one brother, Alvin Harrison; and one sister and spouse, Sandra & Gene Brown of Essex; and step-father, Donald Robinson of Dexter.
Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Wells; two sisters, Vickie Short and Geraldine McGowen.
Friends may visit on Friday, June 6, 2014, after 10:00 a.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 6, 2014, at 11:30 a.m. at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Ray Rowland of Dexter, Missouri officiating.
Interment with be in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.

Beulah Hurley, daughter of the late Homer Scott and Fredia Bedwell Scott, was born on July 9, 1926 in Keiser, Arkansas and departed this life on June 4, 2014 at Cypress Point Skilled Nursing in Dexter at the age of 87.
Mrs. Hurley had worked as a cook and was a resident of Dexter.
She was married to James Mitchell and Thomas George Hurley, both preceding her in death.
She is survived by three sons, Terry Lee Mitchell of Dexter, Rickey Mitchell of Dexter and James Cooper Scott of Dexter; by one daughter, Janice Patterson of Dexter; by one sister, Betty Lou Allen of Stratford, Connecticut; and by thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to both her husbands and her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Jerry Ann Cook.

William Howard Chandler, son of the late Alsia Chandler and Hattie Johnson Chandler, was born on December 16, 1926 in St. Joseph, Tennessee and departed this life on June 3, 2014 at his residence in Bloomfield at the age of 87.
Mr. Chandler was a veteran of the Army Air Corp and had retired from General Motors in 1982. He served as Chief Deputy and Sheriff of Stoddard County.
He was united in marriage to Wanda Lorene Triplett on November 4, 1970 in Cairo, Michigan. Mrs. Chandler preceded him in death on October 20, 2008.
He is survived by one stepson, Curtis Fairchild of Little Deer Island, Maine; by two stepdaughters, Sandra Isaac of Flushing, Michigan and Connie Cobb of Burton, Michigan; and by three grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Villard Chandler, Gentry Chandler and Thomas Chandler; by two sisters, Lorene Grigsby and Dorothy Williams; and by one grandchild, Matthew Lorence.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home on Thursday, June 5, 2014 from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.
Funeral services will be held in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at 11:00 A.M.
Interment will follow at a later date in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Dennis Lynn Mothersbaugh, son of June Jones Mothersbaugh of Dexter and the late Louis L. Mothersbaugh, was born on March 12, 1952 and departed this life on May 30, 2014 at his residence in Dexter at the age of 62.
Mr. Mothersbaugh was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Dexter and worked at the Stoddard County Gospel Mission for 15 years.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Linda Jones of Goodyear, Arizona.
A memorial service will be conducted on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at 7:00 P.M. at the Faith Lutheran Church in Dexter with Pastor Justin Sponaugle officiating.
Services are being handled by the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.
Betty Horton, daughter of the late William “Bill” Sanders and Waneata Walker Sanders was born on October 26, 1940 at Bernie and departed this life in her residence at Essex on May 30, 2014 at the age of 73 years.
Mrs. Horton was the former head cook at Fiddler’s Fish House in Dexter and a former cook at Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter. She was a resident of Essex.
She was united in marriage to Charlie Horton on November 7, 1960 at St. Louis. Mr. Horton survives of the home in Essex.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Allan (Tracy) Horton of Dexter: by one daughter, Vickie (Bill) Goodman of Essex; by two brothers, Delbert Sanders of Troy and Gene Sanders of Scott City; by three sisters, Shirley Felker of St. Charles, Kathryn Hann of Morehouse and Paulette Young of Potosi; by four grandsons, Brad (Jeralyn) Goodman, Derrick (Ginger) Goodman, Brandon Horton and Blake Horton; by four great-grandchildren, Allison Goodman, Brooklyn Goodman, Cooper Goodman and Will Goodman.
Visitation was held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Sunday, June 1, 2014 from 12:30 P.M. until 2:30 P.M.
Funeral services were then conducted at 2:30 P.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. James Malloy officiating.
Interment followed in the Essex Cemetery.
