
Beulah Hurley, daughter of the late Homer Scott and Fredia Bedwell Scott, was born on July 9, 1926 in Keiser, Arkansas and departed this life on June 4, 2014 at Cypress Point Skilled Nursing in Dexter at the age of 87.
Mrs. Hurley had worked as a cook and was a resident of Dexter.
She was married to James Mitchell and Thomas George Hurley, both preceding her in death.
She is survived by three sons, Terry Lee Mitchell of Dexter, Rickey Mitchell of Dexter and James Cooper Scott of Dexter; by one daughter, Janice Patterson of Dexter; by one sister, Betty Lou Allen of Stratford, Connecticut; and by thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to both her husbands and her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Jerry Ann Cook.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Friday, June 6, 2014 from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M.
Funeral services will be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Elijah Allen officiating.
