Leoma Beatrice Cravens

She had lived in the Parma area most of her life. She had worked at the school and the shoe factory. She was a long time member of the General Baptist Church in Parma.
On December 16, 1939, she was married to William Riley Cravens and he preceded her in death on January 2, 1955.
Surviving are one son, Carroll Glenn "Booder" Cravens of Parma; one daughter and spouse, Sheila Kay and Aaron "Sonny" Brannon of Parma; granddaughter, Tamara "Tami" Denee Brannon Reeves and husband Ernie of Collierville, Tennessee; grandson, Tyler Glenn Cravens of Malden; one great granddaughter, Lindsay Deshee Reeves of Collierville, Tennessee; one sister, Wanda (Nixon) Keasler of Dexter; and one brother, Martin Ray Nixon of Nevada; sister-in-law, Ethel Cravens of New Madrid; brother-in-law, Vernon "Smokey" John son of Parma; and sister-in-law, Margaret Cravens of Dexter. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by two sons, William Gary Cravens and Carl Gene Cravens; three brothers, Charles Theodore, George David and James Leaonard Nixon; three sisters, Glennie Stacy, Cleo Denton and Annie Marie Kirk.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 19, 2014, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Parma, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at the Parma General Baptist Church in Parma, Missouri.
Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Parma in charge of arrangements.
