
David Allen Hankins, son of Herbert Coy Hankins and Bonnie Gayle Meadows Hankins of Gladewater, Texas was born on September 20, 1951 in Kennett, Missouri and passed away on November 13, 2013 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau at the age of 62 years.
Mr. Hankins was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church in Dexter, he had been employed at Federal Mogul and was a resident of Dexter.
On November 2, 1972, he was united in marriage to Janet Rae Pool in Kennett, Missouri. Mrs. Hankins survives at the home.
David was a devoted husband, loving father, and had a special love for his grandchildren. Above all, he was a humble servant in Christ until the end. He will dearly be missed.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by two sons, David S. Hankins of Sikeston and Scott A. Hankins of Dexter; by one brother, James Daniel Hankins of Gladewater, Texas; by one sister, Janet Lee Hankins Robertson of Gladewater, Texas; by five grandchildren, Alison Hankins, Carson Hankins, Connor Hankins, Brennan Hankins and Tyler Hankins; and by many other nieces, nephews , cousins and other family members as well.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Sunday, November 17, 2013 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 18, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Lonny Mittag officiating.
Interment will follow in the Chalk Bluff Cemetery in Dexter.

Norma Ann Gisi, daughter of the late Everett Fowler and Bertie Chasteen Fowler, was born on October 28, 1925 at rural Bloomfield and passed away on November 11, 2013 at Cypress Point Skilled Nursing Center in Dexter at the age of 88 years. She was a resident of Dexter.
Mrs. Gisi was a member of the New Hope General Baptist Church in Bloomfield and was co-owner and operator with her husband at Gisi Oil in Dexter.
On January 28, 1972, she was united in marriage to Eugene Gisi at Dexter, Missouri. Mr. Gisi preceded her in death on July 3, 1984.
She is survived by two daughters, Thelma Blunt and her husband Curtis of Essex and Deanna Kingree and her husband, Stephen of Jackson; by one step-son, Michael Gisi of rural Bloomfield; by two step-daughters, Janie Mouser and her husband David of Dexter and Penny Gisi of Dexter; by five grandchildren, Jason Blunt, Darrin Blunt, Kent Kingree, Rachale Kingree Martin; and by four step-grandchildren, Travis Miller, Amy Miller Simmons, Lindsay Mouser Moore and Geoffery Mouser.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Leeman Fowler; by one sister, Alleen Green and by one step-daughter, Susan Miller.

Interment will follow in the West Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Mary was born April 28, 1929 in Bloomfield to the late Ralph and Bertha Pinegar Long. She was preceded in death by her husband Cloid Stewart on October 30, 1987. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Baby Boy (1924), Bobby Lee Long (1929), D.J. Long (1991) and Charles H. Long (2011). She was retired from the Missouri Division of Family Services after more than 40 years of service.
Mrs. Stewart is survived by her son James S. Stewart (Kathy) of Brandon, Mississippi; granddaughters Amanda Wright (Ray), Jamie Watson (David), and Mary Kathryn Stewart; seven great-grandchildren, Eli, Stewart, Silas, Hudson, Riley Kate, Hunter and Lucas; numerous nieces and nephews; brother-in-law Rudy Stewart (Phyllis); sister-in-laws, Ruby Miller and Jerry Long.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First General Baptist Church, 501 Christian Drive, Bloomfield, MO 63825.

Henry P. Kestner, son of the late Joseph Kestner and Birdie Scates Kestner, was born on March 3, 1924 in Dudley, Missouri and passed away on November 8, 2013 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff at the age of 89 years.
Mr. Kestner had worked as a highway concrete finisher for Fred Weber Construction Company of St. Louis, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in World War II and the Korean War and a resident of Dudley.
On December 29, 1950, he was united in marriage to Velma Hurt in Piggott, Arkansas. Mrs. Kestner survives at the home.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Henry D. Kestner and his wife, Linda, of Dexter; by one brother, Joseph Elton Kestner of Dexter; by two grandchildren, Suzanne Kelley and Andrew Kestner; by two great-grandchildren, Caitlyn and Ally Kelley; and by three step-great-grandchildren, Kalieb Hill, Shellbie Hill and Chance McCoy.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, John Howard Kestner and Joseph Robert Kestner; and by one brother, Franklin “Carl” Kestner.

Norma Jean Burns, daughter of the late Russell Simpson and Cloia Harvey Simpson, was born on July 21, 1934 in Lake City, Arkansas and passed away on November 6, 2013 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 79.
Mrs. Burns was a member of the Methodist Church in Essex, a homemaker and a resident of Essex.
On January 20, 1984, she was united in marriage to Tim Burns in Union City, Tennessee. Mr. Burns survives at the home.
She is survived by two sons, Jerry “Freddy” Triplett, Jr. of Dexter and Sloan Adkins of San Diego, California; one daughter, Terry Triplett Adkins, of Bloomfield, Missouri; by two grandchildren, Shonitie Null and Jessica
Reeves and by two great-grandchildren, Gabriel McBroom and Eli Trip Reeves.
A memorial service will be conducted on Monday, November 11, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Methodist Church in Essex with Rev. Roy Sherfield officiating.
