
Charles Aubrey Rainey, son of the late O. Chesley Rainey and Nina Norman Rainey, was born on March 20, 1933 in Dexter, Missouri and passed away on May 10, 2013 at Alexian Brothers Sherbrooke Village in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 80 years.
Mr. Rainey was a member of the Providence Baptist Church in Bonne Terre, Missouri and a resident of St. Louis, Missouri, formerly of Dexter. He had worked as an electronic technician for McDonnell Douglas and was a veteran of the United States Army.
He is survived by two daughters, Diana Lynn Leach and her husband, Ken and Ellen Shy and her husband, Lucky, all of St. Louis, Missouri; and by three grandchildren, Trevor Leach, Sabreena Leach and Kelsie Shy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Bobby Rainey, Marvin Rainey, Lee Rainey, Loyd Rainey and Dale Rainey; and by three sisters, Dorothy Rainey, Ruth Dreadon Gaylord and Evelyn Duley.
Graveside services will be conducted at the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 12:00 Noon with the Rev. Joe Payne presiding.
Arrangements are being handled by the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Marilyn Joyce Garrett, daughter of Joyce Green Fleetwood of Henderson, Nevada and the late Melvin Fleetwood, was born on May 23, 1955 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri and passed away on May 4, 2013 at her residence in Festus, Missouri at the age of 57.
Mrs. Garrett was a home-maker and a former Dexter resident currently living in Festus.
On February 2, 2002 she was united in marriage to Clyde Garrett in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mr. Garrett survives.
Besides her mother and husband she is survived by two sons, Robert Shelsky and wife Ashley of Festus and Jason Shelsky of Tipton, Iowa; by two brothers, Danny Fleetwood and Richard Fleetwood both of Henderson, Nevada; by three sisters, Deborah Lloyd and Donna Sparks both of Henderson, Nevada and Tammi Qustandi of Las Vegas, Nevada and by six grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Thursday, May 9, 2013 from 2:30 P.M. until 4:00 P.M.
A memorial service will then be conducted on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at 4:00 P.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter.

Robert Wayne Sanders, son of the late Marion Sanders and Ammie Autrey Sanders was born on February 3, 1926 in Hagerville, Arkansas and departed this life on May 7, 2013 at the Golden Living Center in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 87 years.
Mr. Sanders was the Central Head Custodian at Dexter Public Schools for many years, and a resident of Dexter.
On July 3, 1948 he was united in marriage to Florence Mildred Swallows in Piggott, Arkansas. Mrs. Sanders survives of the home in Dexter.
Besides his wife, survivors include two sons, Dennis Wayne Sanders and wife Irma of Dexter, and Kenneth Lynn Sanders and wife Joyce of Dexter; by one brother, James Sanders of Peru, Indiana; also by four grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and three step-great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ray Sanders and Delbert Sanders; and by one sister, Elisa Boze.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. Wednesday May 8, 2013.
Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday May 8, 2013 at 6:00 P.M. at the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter with Rev. Kenneth Biggs officiating.
Interment will follow in the Hagy Cemetery.

Peggy L. Rangel, daughter of the late Grover Mosley and Juanita Webster Mosley, was born on August 6, 1940 in Blytheville, Arkansas, and passed away on May 4, 2013 at her residence in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 72 years.
Mrs. Rangel was a member of the Living Water Worship Center in Dexter and retired from Federal Mogul in Dexter.
On May 25, 1958, she was united in marriage to Toby Rangel in Blytheville, Arkansas. Mr. Rangel survives of the home.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Rodney Rangel of Perryville, Missouri and Randy Rangel of Sacramento, California; by one daughter, Laura Cahow of Advance, Missouri; by two brothers, Gerald Mosley of Dexter and Ralph Mosley of Laredo, Texas; by two sisters, Muriel Dirden of Dexter and Pat A. Davul of Fresno, California; and by six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, May 9, 2013 in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel at 12:00 Noon with Rev. Jim Hook officiating.
Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri.

Melvin Eugene Zimmerman, son of the late John Ernest Zimmerman and Nora Ethel McGowen Zimmerman was born in Bernie, Missouri on September 6, 1923 and departed this life at his residence in Bernie, Missouri on May 3, 2013 at the age of 89.
Mr. Zimmerman was a Veteran of the United States Army having served in World War II. He had Owned and operated MFA Service Station in Bernie, Missouri for several years, had also farmed and was a member of the Bernie Church of Christ.
He was united in marriage to Pansy Leona Raybron in Malden, Missouri on July 15, 1942. Mrs. Zimmerman survives her husband in their home in Bernie.
Other survivors include, two sons, Darrell Zimmerman and Mike Zimmerman both of Bernie, Missouri: by two daughters, Sharon Durham of Bernie, Missouri and Judy Watkins of Paducah, Kentucky; by two brothers, Lloyd Zimmerman and Harold Zimmerman both of Bernie, Missouri; by one sister, Geraldine Blackman Sturges of Campbell, Missouri; by 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Also by other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death other than by his parents, by one son, Roger Zimmerman in 1993; by one grandson, Daniel Eugene Zimmerman; by two brothers, Hershel Zimmerman and Howard Zimmerman; by three sisters, Dimple Miller, Pearl Mickey and Marjorie Zimmerman.
